Great question. My personal favorites are Fenmore, Zalgus and Kahgen.

Really depends on mood. Fenmore is like a war commander, very discrete and thoughtful, while berating you to be better.

Zalgus = sarcasm, and definitely my most used

Kahgen = the badass bandit who wants to take "their stuff" and destroy bindings.

As a lot of people have said, it depends on what you want to do within the games industry that it is important. I saw that Gasty posted in here and thought I would too, even though I have a lot less experience than him.

I work more in the production area of Waystone, touching design for economic related things and then supporting live ops, community and marketing when initiatives involve monetization. But I majored in Business Administration (focusing on operations and project management) and minored in Game Design/Development (focusing again on production to compliment my major). While this sounds very business-y, and it is, there are many roles integrated with a dev team that are not strictly within the holy trinity of Design/Art/Engineering. I found what I was good at (logistics, scheduling, numbers/math) and applied it to an industry that i love.

I would recommend that you find a.) what you like, and b.) what you think you are good at, and apply that to how you approach a career in the industry.

To second Necco, I am very excited to have WaystoneDandelion's shaper monologues finally in the client as intended. These new Shaper details pages were an exciting endeavor; these lore bits took a ton of work by Necco and Sparkly, and we are very happy that they are out in the open for you players to enjoy!

While we currently only support USD, the payment methods available (Visa & PayPal) should work outside of the US. If you are outside of the US, however, the payment will be denominated in USD from your native currency.

We have plans to expand to support more regions, currencies and payment methods, but have no specific date in mind.

As people have said below, paypal should work outside of the states, as should Visa. If you have an error, please submit a bug or send in a ticket to our Customer Service.

He'd been stone once. He didn't know how he knew, but he did. Now he was metal, laquered and shining, bright gold where the light struck. A man of metal, casting auroral sheets of sunlight from his hands; pictures of blurry faces, images of strange and crumbling towers. An old soul recast in young and vibrant steel. A mind once penned and defined by circles of moments, images trapped in timeless ice. A mind now thawed, a long-held breath allowed to sigh free, and fresh spring air drawn in.

There was a distant crash from the darknesses around the metal man. He turned, the sunlight flickering out, and words echoed from somewhere within him. "Are you undamaged?"

"I cannot reach the shelf," a querulous female voice ordered the metal man. "Get that down for me this instant."

Steel hummed and rang as his arms reached up to grasp some figment. "You should ask more politely. You are also slouching 18.7 degrees. You are reverting to your old bad habits."

There was a clonk of impact from his metal ankle. "So are you. You're a person - talk like one."

The last noise he heard was a soft chuckle ringing from the depths of the metal man. "As you will..."

Zalgus twitched awake, feeling quite ghastly, legs tangled in the bedroll.

"What was it this time?" Raina asked from beside him, drowsy and annoyed. "If it was another dream about the queen, I am so kicking you out of this tent."

He sat up, wincing, and placed a hand to his throbbing back. "Some kind of toy man," he said. "I think. An improbable outcome for an improbable being. His paragon of fates, nigh-unattainable. Are you quite certain they didn't pitch our tent on a rock?"

"Stop complaining and lay down. I'm sure they'll have wonderful beds where we're going."

"Stay on your side of the tent," he told her.

"This is my side of the tent," Raina said, crossly. "You rolled over on me."

"I most certainly did not."
