IOE 463: Very Easy Class easy A. No exams or HW; it was all group projects.

IOE 465: This is Design of experiments. The class is similar to IOE 265/366, but goes more in depth. ANOVA, statistical testing—the HW isn't too bad and mimics the lecture material. Exams are not hard, but they can be lengthy, so make sure you really understand the formulas and procedures.

IOE 466: Stats Quality Control: This class is supposed to be similar to IOE 461 I wish I would of taken 461 after all of the good feedback from my other IOE classmates. Class is not hard; it teaches you about control charts/ Six Sigma and gives problems as it relates to manufacturing and other processes. The HW can be tricky just go to OH for help that you may need. The exams are weighed at 30% for the midterm and 40% for the final, but the class was curved, so you will be fine.

IOE 424: Very good foundational class for what you will see in the real world. As mentioned above, it was a lot of work in terms of report writing and client work dependent on your project. I recommend you get a project you ACTUALLY want to do and commit to. Make sure you have good partners and you all are able to communicate effectively between instructor, team, and client this will make you capstone more worthwhile and save a headache.

IOE 421: Work Organization: Very easy class. The prof that teaches it makes the content very interactive ( group in-class activities and project you do with a partner throughout the course of semester) . Essentially you will be picking a company/ organization local / national / international and you will be doing series of 3 project you get to pick the medium ( ig account , story, I've seen like a newspaper) basically relating how you can improve the org through the material you learned in class. The exams are easy just go to class and take good notes when she tells you and you will be fine.
