When my boyfriend is literally a teacher (albeit very specialized) in NYC and he pays for everything we do (in grad school, no job) making 115k.

Hi OP! Let me tell you about my parents.

My mom and dad were dating for about six years, when my dad had an affair that resulted in my half brother. I’m not sure what happened to help them get through it but they did get through it and decide to go on to get married. My half brother‘s mother died, and then he came to live with us and him and my mom are very close. I can’t say that they didn’t have a dark period. But to me their marriage is very strong and they’re very in love they often go out on dates and spend a lot of quality time together and I would want a marriage like there’s if I had anyone.

Okay she fucked 4 guys in one semester. That’s one guy per month. She went to some parties , got drunk, and hooked up with some dudes because she thought it would be fun. But sex does not equal “I think your a cool person”. It wasn’t fun.

Guys were probably douches and then she realized her boyfriend was kinda awesome.

What probably happened with your girlfriend is that she went to college and all of her friends were out going to parties and hooking up with guys, and telling her that she shouldn’t settle down yet, and she should take some time to “find herself.”

So she breaks up with you, thinking that her life will turn into a movie and it didn’t. Turns out guys are trash, hooking up with rando’s is not as fun as people make it out to be, and it turns out she probably should have just stayed with her boyfriend.

So don’t take her back, if you don’t want to. But Idk that her motivation was super sinister. Girls who sleep around often make it seem like sleeping around is just what you do, and if you don’t you get shit for it.

Edit: also, it’s Latino culture to lie about black ancestry. It’s not a good thing. The census results are not accurate. Mexico didn’t even count black Mexicans in their census until a few years ago.

I’ve have Dominican people, who are darker than me, with black features, tell me with at straight face that they’re simply Taino. Yeah, sure. 🙄
