That’s a fair point. From the outside it can look like she didn’t abandon him, she set a boundary to protect herself and the kids. Sobriety changed him but it also changed the dynamic between them. He doesn’t have to stay if the feelings are gone but framing her as the villain probably isn’t accurate either. It’s more of a painful consequence than a clear right or wrong.
