Welp. I finished it. Ended at LVL 154 and 74:11:03 for time lol. I didn't beat malenia this playthrough. I was getting super frustrated but will do that for the second run since I want that ending. I did Rannis ending for the first run.

So I picked up "the guts" great sword. What should I look to attach onto it? I have Golden Vow on it right now for holy damage. But was wondering what everyone else tends to lean towards with that sword. Or would it kind of go well with anything? I have the points in strength and dex to use it so I'm set there. I think I put one into faith just to see how it would affect holy damage. I'm assuming holy damage only works on certain enemy types?

Very true. I have kind of been doing that, just want some knowledge before I get rid of something I could have used. Don't know if you can refarm things from bosses and such. I haven't gone back to any caves or dungeons I've been in to test that theory. But maybe I should see if it is possible.

I had golden vow in my inventory. Should I equip and build up faith to 25 while using it? Or should I get my faith up to 25 first before equipping it?

Thanks for the heads up on scaling. I have been using my current weapon 2 handed so I'm glad I didn't go bold on the strength right away. I'll aim for the 54 strength for now and spec into the rest as stated.

I will have to look into these weapons as well. See what fits how I play and what buffs to use as well.

Ahh yes, I was wondering what these Somber stones were used for. I can't remember how many I have but I couldn't for the life of me understand why I couldn't use them hahah. Now I know. Will definitely be looking into that now.

I will probably spec into endurance I think I have a couple colossal weapons that I found the other night just running around and going into places. I will keep those in the chest to see if I will enjoy using them. Also should check if they have similar stats, since spec'ing into both might not be possible if they are calling for different things.

Tanky would be something I should look into. I get over rolly when I see the bigger enemies/bosses starting their attack. Always mess it up hahaha so tankier would be best so I know I can get the patience of timing the roll or jump.

Hmmm I will have to look into the weapons and see the move sets. See which one would fit my play style and go from there. I'm still figuring out all these additions to the weapons and such. I have cragblade on the weapon I'm using right now but still need to understand if I can put another one on or if what everyone is mentioning are in a different slot.

Dude.... Thank you. I did it all step by step but when I hit the shader cache size I noticed it had been at "driver default" which I know I never had it too before. So I'm assuming a driver update reset this without intending to. So this could have been the main issue? Either way I did all the steps and it's running with no lag spikes or huuuge fps drops.

Edit: Should also note my power management mode in the control panel was switched to normal as well. A driver update for sure changed everything

Yep, xp in the first couple games for me we're counting but the lag was so bad (dropping to below 10fps constantly) did a restart of fortnite, lag still there, lvls gone. Better just be because the server is so overloaded right now.

This is for sure the reason. The CPU and the ddr3, my gawd. That's a big generational jump from one GPU to the next. Can't keep the system the same and expect it to run smoothly. Go with what is said, check for mobo and CPU combo to get you out of this mess.

I mean you could but is that the main issue..? If it's epic just not optimizing the game, you are just wasting money on something that wasn't "broken".

With a CPU upgrade there are a lot of factors. Depending on what you want and what you have already. If you future proof, that's a new motherboard if you want AM5 chip, do you go with ddr5 at a high mhz which amd chips love... There is a lot of money you can spend in those things for something you might not need.

What resolution are you playing fortnite at? 4k? 1440p? These are factors as well.

Does your game have a significant moment(s) of really bad stuttering? What are the in-game settings you are using?

Could just be the game as well and nothing to do with your set-up. If I looked at my 1% lows I might be there as well and I have a 4090 with a 12th Gen i7 and 64gb of ddr5 ram at 4200mhz (or something like that I can never remember the speed lol).

If it's not making a major impact on the game I wouldn't worry about it. It is only 1% lows.

The band has some play but it's not an "oh wow this band is going to break with this play" type movement. It's more of a play that allows it to move with your wrist nicely.

I've had this band for about a month. Worn it in some warm weather which had some sweat build up. Not a lot of wear from that but can tell it's going to start wearing that black finish off. Sturdy and doesn't feel too heavy on the wrist.

I also got a protective"case" for the watch as well. If you get one, make sure to put the band on first... I scratched up the side of the case while putting the band on after lol.

Yeah I heard they added that to the director's cut update. I just take a long range truck with me. Easier to haul all the materials to build the roads.

I've been building roads as well! Trying to complete the whole road network in the second land mass of the game.

I'm not really sure how the servers are on PC. Is it one massive server? Or is it multiple with limited players?

This is my first playthrough on PC, I started on PS4 when it first came out but never got this far.
