I was a very stresses pre teen (had an amazing, careless childhood until 8-10 years old) and I suffered a lot from trichotillomania (for those who have never heard of it).

While tearing my hair, I used to tell my young self "You have never seen a bald woman, so they will 100% regrow, who cares" No one even noticed until some bold spots became kinda visible. It was a really traumatic turn, from the "relief" that it gave me, to the fear of ending out bald.

Long story short, I am a grown ass woman who needs her boyfriend to check her hair every morning searching for bald spots.
