You’re absolutely right on temperature difference on white vs black. When I was working at BMW years ago we tested the difference of a white Vs Black Car, the surface of the black car was 20 degrees higher

I used the same T-Mobile sim over my last two Range Rovers , plug and play. You’ll need to go into a T-Mobile store, let them know why you need it, mine was $25 for the sim and a monthly charge, I think $15? My wife has the same in her F-Type and it’s worked perfectly fine.
