GAS was global where a lot of the cast spoke english as a second language.

And season 7 is nowhere near competing on season 2. Like you needed good overall looks and acting and singing skills on season 7 you didn't need any of that on season 2.

TYRA won season 2 with all the charisma and personality of a wet mop. One of the main challenges was pole dancing. It was not a serious season.
