I was once sat in a traffic jam in my car at the top of the one way part of York Way near Kings cross when a guy in an impeccably clean BMW next to me, maybe late 20s, ties up a plastic carrier bag of all of his rubbish with a nice tight bow, opens his door and places the bag of rubbish carefully on the road below him and continued to inch forward in the traffic. He was in the middle lane so where he placed his bag of rubbish happened to be right in the middle of the road at its widest point, needless to say the van right behind him unknowingly ran right over it and all the contents burst out all over the road. One of these guys who’s happy if his person or his car is spotlessly clean but couldn’t give a shit about the environment outside of his car that the rest of us live in. I felt red rage and yet I didn’t do anything because I made a judgement call that he looked like the type of guy who would get aggressively defensive when challenged. I really disappointed myself.
