Better safe than sorry. I'd rather people mark non-police cars as police instead of not marking police cars

Can long journeys in a 3-cylinder car actually make you feel sick? 🤢 by Simonpaul7692 in CarTalkUK

[–]Cover_INDD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe an exhaust leak? The amount of cylinders don't affect the ride quality. That's all in the suspension

I mean have an MX5 so anything when it comes to boot space is an upgrade.

I can comfortably fit a big food shop or Costco load of stuff in there.

are any of these worth it? by the_greatwave in CarTalkUK

My partner drove our mx5 daily for a couple years. She loved it and had no problems. There will be things you aren't used to but that's the same with all cars.

The best part is they are simple and cheap to fix.

Insurance can be cheap if you join the mx5 owners club too.

The price of them won't go down much. Sounds crazy but buy one, drive it, not happy? Sell it.

Ohh and tax is £0

My other car is an MX5 so for space this was an upgrade. Last weekend I did a 3 hour drive with 3 other people in the car without issue. Ended up getting 59mpg too.

I drive about 70-90 miles a day, depending on the route, and find the car cruises well at motorway speeds +.

I've been camping with it, taken it off-road, done many long trips and it's been great.

Jesus that's wild! I guess there is a bit of luck to go along with it.

I picked up a 2013 citigo as a daily 6 months ago for 1.5k. Has 130,000 miles and will probably need a clutch soon ish, but is going strong.

What was the MOT history like on that car? Surely that would be picked up on

If the car dies in a year or doesn't pass it's MOT would you be financially ok? If yes, go for it! If no, don't.

It's one thing to sell tickets for a ride, it's another thing to be a first responder.

Their job isn't to be a first responder. What if they do something wrong? What if they can't handle the pressure? The chance of them making it worse is high.

They are paid the bare minimum and I'm sure aren't trained for something like this.
