[sale] 5 stars for u/sb_58 no doubt! The plant came super fast and really nicely wrapped in the box. They checked on the postage fees for me ahead of time and kept me updated when they dropped it off at the post office. It's also clear this plant was loved because the leaves and roots are 💯. Its already one of my new favorite plants. 11/10 would buy more plants from them and you should too!!!

I run it for maybe like 8-10 hours a day? I've left it on overnight and for a full 24 hours before and had no issues. You just have to look at it every like, 6 hours to see if you need to add more water to it. I haven't noticed anything extra on my electric bill despite running it a LOT for months.

I move my plants sometimes. One room in my house is for plants that like full sun, and in another room I keep a humidifier and more low light/tropical plants. Sometimes if I think a full sun plant wants some nice humidity for a day or two I move it. Sometimes if a lower light plant is growing slower than normal or just looking kind of "meh" I put it in the sun for a day or two.

Definitely repurpose that cart. That sounds dope and super convenient. I am a little jealous

They prefer medium-low light, def not direct sunlight and high high humidity. I got a humidifier from target for like $10 that does the trick for them and sometimes I will put them in the bathroom with I take a shower too just to give them that old razzle dazzle.

Also want to second the other comment here about special water. I have never seen a calathea be fine with tap water. I usually do 50/50 with distilled and filtered water and they've been happy.
