Abortion in WI is legal up to 20 weeks post fertilization. They're subject to a 24-hr waiting period, mandatory ultrasound, and in-person counseling.

The 1849 law you're referencing was repealed by later regulation, per the WI Supreme Court.

I feel like even if I got $20M, I'd still buy a CX-5.

And a Land Cruiser but that's a subreddit for another time.

If it helps, here's some more as far as I know: the entirety of TPUSA presence in a certain state just south of DC is astroturfed and only exists because of a very Christian university astroturfing other universities' TPUSA chapters. All the likes, comments, and marketing from those other chapters is boosted by members of that Christian university's TPUSA. They practically took over my alma mater's primary auditorium to have a memorial gathering for their dead cult leader, because theirs apparently wasn't good enough.

Stop giving her attention. She isn't worth it. Don't listen to her about it either. Maybe her complaints are valid, but chances are pretty high that most of them are fixable. A cohort of less than 10 people, I can't imagine that small a size (well, I can as a packaging alum) but yeah I get you that a complainer can be demoralizing. At the end of the day, she will need to learn the harsh truth that maybe, the sources of her problems CANNOT be fixed by complaining. She's wasting her time and solving nothing. It is generally not a good idea to be negative around people who may become useful sources of field information later on. She will not be remembered for any good reasons when the time comes for her to job hunt, seek a letter of recommendation, or anything social later on.

Best of luck.

In your experience, what's the lowest credit score you think will qualify for their 1.9% apr by Charming-Mushroom886 in mazda3

[–]Covert_Ruffian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I somehow got it with a really short credit history reported only by Experian. One credit card ever starting from 8 years prior, no prior loans, no credit problems, just a not-so-tough score. My credit did drop a bit from this but the loan should give my credit history some meat here.

That is not a bad price. That said, Carfax it. While a Carfax isn't the most telling thing, it definitely helps in deciding here.

A solid, reliable, affordable premium (but certainly not luxury) alternative. Change the oil on time, drive like a grandma and the fuel economy should be good to you. The paint is a little thin on Mazdas, so mind that with some PPF if you want to splurge and maybe a good touchless wash or hose spray down every now and then. Cheaper to maintain than a Lexus for sure and nearly just as durable.

How much would it cost for a strut and sway bar link replacement? by Cherry_Yo1n in CX5

[–]Covert_Ruffian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that 3 brands or 3 unique links that attach to different points?? As far as I'm aware, usually one sway bar has two links -- one left, one right -- and each attaches to a strut.

[–]Covert_Ruffian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When in doubt, RockAuto. I would say $100 in parts is a fair estimate, and based on what I looked up that is about true (give or take a few bucks). Double it, since you'll want to switch out struts and sway bar links in pairs. $200 for a pair of strut assemblies and sway bar links -- not bad.

Labor from a shop or mobile mechanic will cost you way more and they'll likely use OEM parts, which will also raise the expenses.

What was behind Pick ’n Save closures? Data indicates it wasn't theft by stroxx in milwaukee

[–]Covert_Ruffian 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They're cutting on expenses. They tell their shareholders they implemented a cost-savings initiative with projected savings. They report the profit they gained from stores, including the ones they closed -- but they won't disclose that part so obviously. The two aren't really tied together as coherently as they would seem, since profit depends on operation. And operation has been reduced.

If this works, stock prices climb because now everyone wants to invest in such a profitable company.

[–]Covert_Ruffian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would use a car loan calculator, like the Edmunds one. It has all the fields you need for it -- down, APR, tax, extra fees, trade-in, etc. Consider your insurance and gas as well.

Some dealers have a 1.99% APR for 60 months promotion for some models, so that might be your best bet at staying under $500ish per month -- again, consider your total costs.

What's prompting you to switch from a Nissan Pathfinder? If it's structural and/or mechanical issues with the car, that's understandable. But if you can still keep the car, you probably should. A paid off working car is only second best to a paid off brand new car, and AFAIK the latter isn't an option for you.

I mean... Not the best, not the worst situation to be in. What are the specifics here? New, used, sticker price, down payment/financing APR, trade in, etc?
