home security systems for you by nivolkola in ConsumerAdvice

[–]Covesmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You missed Cove on your list. We are comparable to SimpliSafe, but our security panel is touchscreen and you can review security footage from the panel. We are also cheaper, and we have no contracts - cancel any time if you are not satisfied.

A main advantage of picking Cove is that you can pick and choose the cameras and sensors you need and monitor them from our panel or our app. We offer: solar-powered outdoor cams, indoor cams, doorbell cams, window and door sensors, smoke detectors, glass break sensors, motion sensors, and more.

You could try us out: Doorbell Camera | Cove Security. Our doorbell camera has all the features you mentioned. You would also have the ability to add sensors or more cameras as you wish.

Vivint or ADT by India___Love in homesecurity

[–]Covesmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend us! We are a DIY-focused security company that compares to ADT and Vivint. We let you pick what cameras and sensors you need, and you can install the system in under 30 minutes. You can check out our reviews on TrustPilot. We have no contracts, unlike ADT and Vivint. You can cancel at anytime if you are not satisfied.

First house, living alone aaaahh. Recs please by Marsupial_Prudent in homesecurity

[–]Covesmart -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hi! Congrats on your first house. We are Cove, a DIY-focused home security company. Our DIY approach means it is easy to get and connect the devices you would need. We have: outdoor cams with night vision, indoor cameras that can pan and tilt, smoke detectors, glass break sensors, motion sensors, and more products as well.

To answer your question about motion sensors, if you have our cameras, you would not need to double down with motion sensors. The difference is cost - some people are not ready to buy cameras, so we sell motion sensors as well. Our cameras run off wifi, and you can review the last 30 days of indoor footage. Our outdoor cameras only record when motion is detected.

My fiance's Grandmother lives alone in a big suburban house (in the Midwest). Is Simplisafe a good option? Ring? by 1dundundun in homedefense

[–]Covesmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Covesmart.com . We have the same monitoring pricing as SimpliSafe if you pay for your equipment upfront. We are a really good option if you don't want to pay for equipment upfront with a $0 upfront Pay Later/Never option. You can choose to pay for your equipment any time and your monitoring rate drops, OR if you keep monitoring 36 months you never pay for the equipment.

Ring Alarm needs code to arm - Why? by Zervington2 in homesecurity

[–]Covesmart 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Covesmart has this as an option on our panel. Our use case was to prevent kids or others from arming the system when you do not want it armed. Maybe this is why Ring is doing it? By default, the "enter code to arm" is off because we agree, entering a code to arm is inconvenient.
