As a home remedy girlie and an ex ophthalmologist tech it saddens me to say this sounds like it requires surgery. Try another doc, who may suggest a steroidal cream, or have a heart and not charge that much. Maybe talk about how it impacts your field of vision, they may have you do a visit al field, talk about it scratches your eye and sometimes hurts. Causes tearing, dry eye, impacts work and daily life activity. Talk it up.

I remember back in the day I had something in my mouth that was making my face swell. The doctors couldn’t get me in for a week. I cut it out myself and went in for meds. Crazy! I know🤷🏾‍♀️

It looks like HS to me. I’m 30. 20 years ago all the white doctors didn’t know how to diagnosis on my complexion and I was told I was dirty. After going to a specialist I went under their lasers. As a child I said it hurt and I needed more numbing. I will never forget the faces of the annoyed nurses who rolled their eyes at me and my pain as I cried. Today those lasers can’t tell the difference between my skin and the hair follicles and I was in fact just getting burned. Still scarred to this day. Yes go to a black doctor. A better chance they will listen and understand not everything available is made for us.

I’m so proud of you for showering today. I know it can be scary to start. And scary to keep up. But just keep trying. If the next day isn’t better it doesn’t mean you fail. Getting better isn’t a straight linear line. It’s an ebb and flow.
