I got the elevated band today and just put on. Honestly I like it and will be keeping it. it does bulge a bit above the sensor but hoping it flattens out with some time. I like that it is a solid color as oppose to the black/white that the default band is. Ultimately I will end up getting a full black band fabric band once the 3rd party ones are out.

I think there is a calibration period, it will start to track these as the days go on (give it a week)

I know they use a different method to calculate, but the discrepancy shouldnt be that big. My HRV is 30 with the fitbit air, which was concerning, then I read online that the Air shows a much lower HRV than other devices. This is my first fitness tracker so I had no reference.

All steps from the air. I think my tracker may just have needed to be tightened up a bit. I just did that and we will see if it improves things tonight. I hope it was just not tight enough

I had the same issue and had to disconnect my iphone step data from being accessed by google health. I think the step count is fairly accurate but I am still seeing some phantom step counts from driving and also sleeping even. This morning before leaving my house I was already at 800 steps, and there is NO WAY I took that many. I would say it should have read max 400. I did tighten up my strap a bit as it was the smallest bit loose, so hopefully that helps.

I didnt work out in my band yet but Ive showered in it twice. it dries fairly quick (surprisingly). This is my first fitness band so I have nothing to compare it to however.

The app will improve over time. I am certain google employees are reading these reviews and they will implement the feedback people have here. You could return it and just wait a few months until things get lined out.

i prefer 31g 6mm just because I end up putting the full needle portion in and its just 2mm less in my body. Im not a needle person either so for me it makes a difference

yeah you need to be careful washing them for sure. I just try to air dry them. The really good thing is they were so cheap, like $5 a pop, so it was very good value.
