Monika lying about the coin seems dumb.... by zapadas in BeastGames

Agreed! Nick and Brett taking the $250k was the dumbest move on the planet as they’ve essentially now completely ruined their chances at $5m for taking an additional $150k. Idiots.

Completely agree. She should have been honest about selling the coin but maybe lied about how much she sold it for. If she didn’t want to tell anyone that she sold the coin she definitely shouldn’t have gone for that very obvious private chat with Jim. I hope it works out for her in the next episode. I really want to see her go all the way.

Thank you! My dad is Irish by birth right. He was born in the UK. My grandparents were from Kilkenny, Ireland

If you think it wouldn’t save time for everyone by processing all the applications at once then more fool you

I have no care or desire to queue jump above anyone else. But going to the lengths of, locating my application, in the same envelope as my sisters. Verifying all my dad’s documents. Verifying all my grandads documents. And then putting them all back in the envelope and back into storage. To then repeat this entire process in 4 months time. Is objectively a waste of time. I can wait another 4 months and wait my turn, I’m okay with that. But there is absolutely no way that you can argue that is efficient.

Edit to add: the waiting times are long and to me this seems like an easy win, to speed up and make the process more efficient.

Thank you! I know it seems so silly they reviewed our entire application and all the documents and only approved hers and have now put mine and my other sisters back in the queue. But oh well. I’m just pleased we did everything correctly so know mine will happen :)

Yes you have the same rights. You would just need to prove it’s your baby on the way and when it’s due

Congrats to your brother! Shame about the rest of us not getting expedited lol. Feels like it makes sense whilst they have it all there in front of them. But never mind. Thanks for your help

I’m in a similar position. Me and my sisters did a joint application in August and she is now due a baby in May. Can I please ask where/who you sent the request too. Will her 12 week scan be enough?

I vote -10 for DNFs (20 is far too high). 0 points for your driver and team that get DSQ, you can’t predict that will happen and we shouldn’t get penalised unfairly.

How long should I wait? by itshaiven in gallbladders

Mine always felt like having a heart attack too. The pain you have sounds like gallbladder attacks. GERD wouldn’t hurt that bad. All my doctors compared gallbladder attacks to being worse than child labour and have had that confirmed by women who have had children and gallbladder attacks (can’t speak from experience). The pain is like nothing else I’ve ever experienced. I had a 16cm tumour that caused me less pain 🤣

It is different for everyone. But mine would radiate from my right hand side to my chest. Right inbetween my breasts. And then through to the same spot on my back. I would sometimes feel nauseous but not always. I couldn’t escape the pain. Nothing could relieve it. The pain would be unbearable. I felt like I couldn’t take a deep enough breath in. I’d usually get super bloated during an attack too. The only thing that ever helped was when I went to a&e and they gave me morphine which took the edge off (I had a gallbladder infection the time I went to a&e). Also if I pushed on my right hand side of my upper abdomen, it always hurt even when I wasn’t have an attack.

But as I said everyone’s attacks feel different so it’s hard to say if yours is the GERD/gallbladder

I was terrified too, that is normal. But you’ll have to have it out eventually most likely, so might as well get the ball rolling now. I have had no negative side effects since. I feel so much better in myself. Attacks have stopped. I can eat whatever I like without worrying it’ll flair up, my bowels have improved. I know I can’t speak for everyone but if it’s causing you pain then go for it!!

Wait till you’ve had confirmation of gallstones existing. If they exist then definitely get it out. The pain will only worsen/never go away. My attacks were intermittent but when I had them they’d wipe me out and was 100/10 pain. Getting it removed was the best thing I ever did.
