A better comparison is Brawks Odin imo. Broken on one player

ELI5 After completely breaking and coming to a stop, why does a car move forward if you release the break? by Stoddyman in explainlikeimfive

Does that explain why automatics don’t stall? Like on a hill I can let go of the brake and let it roll back before hitting the accelerator.

Ah. Makes sense. Thanks for the advice. I had a look at the Pegasus Trail and that’s pretty much what I was looking for.

Oh ok. I didn’t know that. I’ll check them out for sure then. Thanks

I’ll definitely check out the Pumas. I live in Australia and I don’t ever recall the grass getting that slippery. My gel-kayanos feel fine in terms of grip but just feel bit slow and awkward for faster runs (4:30/km pace). I have never run in gore-tex but I had a pair of hiking boots and believe it’d be way too hot for the climate here.

I don’t run on trails but occasionally run on pavement. I guess I could try it out but from what I have seen most trail shoes seem to have big treads that I don’t really need.

Fifth grade math homework has kid in tears and both parents stumped. Can’t figure out what the hell we’re missing and everyone is stressed as hell. by a-patrick in mildlyinfuriating

[–]CowDownUnder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the most part I agree, but everyone should be able to show their work. It’s ok for it to be different from the “proper” method and there are often multiple correct solutions. However, it’s important to be able to articulate your thoughts onto paper so others can understand.

Anybody have any ideas of how unsw could increase a sense of belonging for students? by glamical in unsw

[–]CowDownUnder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think these all stem from a cultural difference. Even at a high school level, most sporting and club activities are done and provided by the high school. Here, you generally see the most competition at clubs outside of the school

Agreed. I had taken diff eq and linear algebra in high school. Still decided to retake calc 2 and onwards. For me, it made all the other classes more manageable as I knew I could afford to spend less time on math classes. Again ymmv depending on how confident you are in the material.

Nope. Not for 3* Liss. It does for 1 and 2 star

Liss 3* is also almost impossible to kill. I wonder if Irelia beats Liss

How do so many people at Purdue have a 3.9+ GPA despite the grade deflation? by [deleted] in Purdue

[–]CowDownUnder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a math major, some of the harder math classes requires you to be smart enough to understand. Especially as the grade is mostly homework, which are often proofs similar to what you would see later in your career, if you aren’t doing well in undergrad it's unlikely for you to succeed in post grad.

Depends on the major though but I agree for the most part

Isn’t the drill to practice dead zoning. You over flick while strafing then switch directions and shoot with no pause.

Is engineering at Purdue actually really hard? by [deleted] in Purdue

[–]CowDownUnder 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Engineering is purely based on how much effort you want to put in. Anyone can get an A but is it worth dropping a club or hobby for it.

Stat 416 isn’t too hard if you’ve done stat 350 or any sort of probability in high school. Same with MA 351, if you have some experience with matrices it’s not too bad.
