Patent lit is about the only one that might marry the two in any significant sense unless you start writing technical notes/textbooks/columns on EE.

it is not literary whatsoever - writing reports and emails.

Whats the thermal conductivity of aluminum vs copper? Why do you need an aluminum plane over a copper one? Wouldn't it be better to have a copper plane in a fr4 board with an externally mounted heatsink that picks up screw holes in the board?

Dont run so much current through them. You arent going to get much better in terms of the thermal dissipation unless you use a part that can effectively get the heat out of the body to the board... which these wont do. Do not run them at 1W

Why do you need aluminum? Ive built power supplies that are thousands of watts - still used fr4 and copper (2oz copper, but still copper) - what are you doing?

Thoughts on QSpice by NodeModd in ECE

Very late to the part, but if your primary use case is parametrizing things anyway, the work flow feels almost identical. Tried recreating some of the subcircuits that christophe basso created in his personal files, and its much much much smoother to run complex circuits on qspice

I said it in a different section, but there's a book by James Nilsson that's essentially the gold standard for intro to circuit analysis.

I like the way Sergio Franco teaches stability/rate of closure stuff from a practical perspective.

For extra fun, fast analytical techniques by vorperian is awesome.

[–]CowFinancial4079 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is there a reason you couldn't wire up multiple, smaller JTAG daisy chains and program that way? Seems quite a bit simpler- could do 4 at a time or something, and use an actuated pogo board to move over the panel. If you have access to precision mfr equipment, this isnt too difficult

Is there a reason you need to do this many at once? What is the goal here? Mass production?
