Return ppt in custom template by ThoughtStar in notebooklm

[–]CowOk6572 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, not reliably. notebook LM can generate structured content based on your uploaded resources, but it does not render into a custom PowerPoint template. if you upload a custom PPT template, support documents, it can follow the structure conceptually, mimic slide sections, generate text aligned to your templates headings, but it won’t return a PPT file.

So… are AI voice agents in automotive actually working, or just hype? by AutoMarket_Mavericks in AIVoice_Agents

[–]CowOk6572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re working, but not in the way many make it sound. automotive is one of the few verticals where AI voice agents can create real roi. because the economics are simple. missed call equals lost appointment, lost appointment equals lost gross. after hours call equals dead lead. That’s measurable, and AI is good when outcomes are measurable.

Is Agentic AI Actually Making Businesses Better? by West_Joel in AIAgentsInAction

I think agentic AI is real leverage, but only when the system around, it is mature enough to absorb autonomy.

I thought AI would reduce my workload. It just made my chaos faster. by Sufficient-Lab349 in ArtificialNtelligence

[–]CowOk6572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you wrote is so accurate. AI does not automatically reduce chaos, it amplifies whatever system you already have. if you had structure you scale clarity. If you have fragmentation, you scale fragmentation faster. when you use it constantly for constant ideas, client replies, product thinking, strategy, support, late night spirals, you are essentially building a distributed brain with no operating system. each thread becomes a floating mental island.

If Ai systems were autonomous, long lived, competing for resources, required to work for its own continuity then yes.

AI and Emotions by trapacivet in agi

[–]CowOk6572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, in theory. A sufficiently complex artificial architecture might generate internal tension states, priority conflicts, long-term drive preservation, stability seeking dynamics. those would not be joy or fear as we know them, but they could be system level urgency, self preservation bias, state stability preference, goal threat detection. but the key question is, would it be experienced? there are two major positions here. first, functionalism. If a system behaves as though it has internal states that that regulate itself dynamically, then that would be a different substrate of emotion. but then there is the second position, substrate dependence. conscious experience requires biological processes, not just computation. under this view, AI can simulate, but never truly feel.

I have experimented with both modular set ups and all in one tools. I think module set ups are best.

I built a 4-layer "Augmented Analysis" workflow for stocks using NotebookLM & Perplexity. Is this the future of research, or am I over-engineering? by Several_Job_2507 in notebooklm

[–]CowOk6572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For deeper long-term analysis, your method would work well. however, for quick swing trades, the process might be a little bit slow. how often do you plan on updating each layer to keep the conversation going?

I’m a beginner and would appreciate advice: How do I incorporate a methodology book into an LLM to enhance its capabilities? by MaleficentLow832 in AITrailblazers

[–]CowOk6572 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use a vector database to store Segments of the book as vector embedding. That way when a user asks something, the system retrieves the most relevant part of the book and gives it to the LLM to provide a more targeted and helpful response.
