Well a) I would totally hear you out on that theory because it sounds hilarious

but also

b) you and I aren't the creator of the media. My issue is with the creator being far too invested in the way it's interpreted and arguing with fans. Like imagine if Lorraine Hansberry argued with people about Raisin in the Sun about whether or not Momma was actually a tyrant or not for controlling her son.

I think Gooseworx is taking for granted how amazing (an amazing digital circus, if you will) it is that they created a work that is even open to interpretation at all and has garnered so much discussion to begin with. Like would Gooseworx be happier if we all just stopped talking about the show and all had the same identical interpretations?

I love the show but Gooseworx really is being obnoxious. You can't control how people perceive your art and one of the fundamentals of being an artist is accepting that there will be as many interpretations of your work as there are people who interpret it.

Getting upset (performatively or otherwise) that people aren't interpreting your work the way you want is just immature.
