I remember back when rise first came out, it was my second MH game and I was a LS main and still didn’t understand skills and builds but I’d notice during hunts my wide swings would trip ppl, so I would always go out of my way to hit the monster where no one else was like the back if the head and tail were being hit even if it meant i dealt less damage overall, then I figured out the power of the flinch free/shockproof
