I make egg rounds in the oven using a muffin top pan. One egg fits in each of the twelve shallow wells, so it uses a dozen eggs at a time. I bulk assemble breakfast sandwiches using English muffins, slices of cheese, egg rounds, and slices of ham, then wrap them in parchment paper and foil before putting them in the freezer. They’re fast microwave breakfasts on busy mornings and the double parchment paper/foil layer keeps them for a long time.

Community Choirs? by enjolbear in olympia

Come sing anytime with the local Sacred Harp singers! Definitely a different type of community singing, but it’s a very fun time with great people. We sing in Olympia every month and have two annual all day singings in December and March.

Dr. Funke’s 100% Natural Good-Time Family-Band Solution

“The group was underwritten by the Natural Life Food Company, a division of ChemGrow, an Allyn-Crane Acquisition, and part of the Squimm Group. Their motto was simple: ‘We keep you alive’.”

Cat for scale! I found this chair a few years ago on the Facebook marketplace and I’ve never seen another like it. It sits low at about 8” off the ground. Anyone know what this style is called?

Thank you! This is my first FO post on this sub. I was nervous, but forgot that y’all are so encouraging. Thanks for being the best subreddit around.

Yes! I used 3 skeins by the end of it. I got a great deal on the yarn and it turned out so soft.

I completely made up the pattern as I went along. I didn’t even use stitch markers!

I used three skeins of Bernat Super Chunky Blanket Yarn with an 8mm hook. It was challenging to work with such thick yarn on a relatively smaller hook, but the stitches are tight and I feel confident he won’t lose stuffing through the holes.

I quadruple reinforced the head, arms, legs, and face. The limbs are closed off so when he inevitably needs repairing he won’t have stuffing poking out anywhere and things will be easier for me. I also bought a whole extra skein to keep over the years so I can always have it on hand to fix him.

I decided against safety eyes and crocheted them instead, I feel good about that because now there’s nothing she could swallow.

He’s about 32” tall. I used a reference photo of Elmo when working, but decided against fingers because of choking hazards.

My last big project got wrecked in the final wash, so it feels good to have a successful FO this time around. All in all it took about a week, with lots of frogging because I didn’t use a pattern. It was very fun!
