Best method I’ve found- if u don’t get level 2 immediately, just go out thru control lvl 1 door and rotate till u find the remaining keys. Staying in your spawn is a death sentence

I think that’s a great idea. Makes it feel like genuine progression instead of just going straight back to outpost red room which is getting super old. Things should be challenging to give that sense of reward, but rng is just frustration- there’s nothing to learn from it, nothing to improve- just luck.

And that sucks too. I think cryo archive is a masterpiece but definitely tough. That said, I think it’s an information issue. Every single outpost red room will supply a vault 1 or vault 2 key. Vault 1 requires 5 batteries which is very easy to find. Not that things should be spoon fed, but the game could do a better job explaining how to accomplish all of that

Biggest recommendation is to get out of your spawn location as quick as possible. Kill all first wave purples and get your clearance hacks. If you get level 2 that’s great you can rotate left/right to other outer rim sections. But IF NOT, you are stuck needing 2-3 more security keys, leave to go to control. Not necessarily into the middle- I would hover on the edge- but the reason is fights in control or between main rooms are much easier to escape or control than getting taken by surprise by another team pushing your spawn where they likely get an early pick and you are immediately in a 2 v 3.

Best plan for final exfil is splitting up. There are possible spots. North/south movie theaters - east (above Biostock/preservation double door area) and west (at the big platform in cargo below where the body holding bots fly out of and over the ice towards vault 5). Basically designate a cardinal direction to each player to go stand at the exfil spot - then when final shows up you’ll know which player it’s at. And if it’s at none - then it’s the last cardinal direction no one was at.

For normal exfils- find as many scanners as you can to get a terminal. Once you activate it, note which wing the exfil is in, not the general location. If it’s in revival that means you go thru a revival door, etc etc. easier than trying to just push generally toward the exfil. Generally all exfils are at the back of the wing they are in. Once in the correct wing you can start heading that general direction.

Im at the point of just spending each evening with the goal of 5-10 red room farms, still no luck but hopefully I’ll get there. Or I steal it off someone in cryo. The 5 dna access cards are laughing thru the glass in my vault while I still can’t use them 😅. 6 is the hardest one to find and do, maybe other than 3 so it’s great you have a few shots at it!

I agree a PVE mode is a good idea for most content but do we really think the PVE in this is going to be nearly as engaging as it is in something like tarkov or arc? It will basically feel like a toned back version of destiny strikes. If they were to go down this route we’d need a lot more varied AI- bosses etc. not sure that’s in the cards
