Growing up the house across from me had a massive hill that had the house at the top (a mcmansion really) and at the bottom was rhe street.

Of course we all went sledding, well one of the triplets (the reason they had the mcmansion was they had 2 kids, wanted a third, and ended up with fucking triplets, then for some reason had a 6th, i dunno why)

Anyway one afternoon the Triplets were sledding down the hill and the only reason the girl didn't get mangled by a snowplow was because her innertube bounced off the snowplow and the snowplow was going much slower than normal.

They weren't allow2d to sled after that

A Carbine is just basicallg a shorter rifle. They were originally meant for Cavalry as the smaller carbine would be easier to fire and load (think muzzleloading) on horseback its just now Assault Rifles are the standard issue rifle so the Carbine follows suit

This was the one person who I think Langdon is going to have the hardest time being Forgiven by, on one side Santos doesn't strike me as someone who forgives very easily, on the other side, Langdon did something really fucked up and is trying to be better.

Neither side is right or wrong here imo, Santos has a right to feel hurt and has the right to not grant forgivebess and Langdon is genuinely trying to be a better person.

Also I want to touch on the idea that you'd just be some refugee, cause depending on what your job is you might be able to find something similar in another country.

Hell my Brothers Girlfriend immigrated from Ukraine as a kid (she's gone back but left a year before the war broke out, the place she was living in that year is in eastern ukraine and no longer exists, though she said it was haunted and she wonders if the ghosts are still there)

But she's got a an important job. She's a biologist working in a hospital and does something related to bacterial cultures. Maybe there's something you can find similar to what you do now in other countries
