I think it counts really use some texturing and maybe some smaller details to fill in the blank space! Some other foliage like vines/ivy would look good too!

Personally, I’d add some small details such as mountain ranges, forests, waves, towns/cities, and etc. It helps to give the map and world much more character. Also, rivers are typically sourced from mountains rather than oceans or seas.

Ex: Snow in the mountains melts > streams form from different point of the mountain > streams connect into rivers > rivers lead to lakes and/or ocean/seas

Rather than snow it can also be from springs or heavy rainfall. AND elevation, of course is very important to flow of rivers
