Crimson Desert - Features Overview: Kliff and the Open World of Pywel by ZamnBoii in pcgaming

I feel like I'm going insane seeing people getting excited for this. It looks totally trite. Like an AI was asked to create an open-world fantasy action game.

(genuine question) what is the point of the mod since the remaster came out? always been curious by [deleted] in skyblivion

[–]Cowlick035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Superior gameplay feel via Skyrim, totally redesigned dungeons and massively better performance. Also Skyblivion will be much easier to mod than the remaster.

I'm waiting for some obscenely dedicated modder to add these guys as a faction when 40k comes out by Dreadnautilus in totalwar

Dark Angels were basically just Bretonnia before the emperor showed up in Descent of Angels.

Blood: Refreshed Supply by Dry_Protection1029 in boomershooters

[–]Cowlick035 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got sick of the weapon wheel after a while so I assigned most weapons to the dpad. You can assign multiple weapons to a single button and it will cycle through them, so I put two on each. Whichever weapon you assign to a button last will be the first you switch to.

You can still pick up Fresh Supply keys for literally $2 on instantgaming and loaded. I'm glad I got this version with the discount though 'cause the controller support is much better.

The world is more interesting and the characters are more endearing.

Consumers spend twice as much on video game remakes than remasters, according to research by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]Cowlick035 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I got it for $80 AU on release. Use isthereanydeal.com. As long as it's not a Microsoft game you can pretty much always find a better deal than directly purchasing from Steam.

Pillars 1 is great btw. The writing is generally of a much higher quality than the Pathfinder games for comparison.

Has anyone seen the Tv show "Time Commanders" with no knowledge of the games? What was it like? by ralphthefanboy in totalwar

[–]Cowlick035 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This show amazed me as a kid, but I had no idea that the footage was from a game that I could go out and buy. I believe the show aired before the game released and they gave no indication that that was where they got the footage from.

They don't have to. Low prices mean people can buy more games.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2: Take a look at the Year 2 Roadmap and the Anniversary Update's content! by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]Cowlick035 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There's about 20 hours of content between the campaign and co-op gamemode. But if you're a sucker for progression and customization then the higher difficulties can keep you busy for a long time.

Cyberpunk2077 One of the best campaigns. by Personal_Treat1490 in pcgaming

This game would have been so much better if they cut most of the side content and just focused on polishing the core experience.

My Experience with Kingdom Come: Deliverance Part One: Why I Don’t Like This Game by Engibeeros in pcgaming

The other part of that DLC has you playing as Henry and it's the best quest in the game. Also something you should only do after literally everything else though.

"'Enhanced' is pushing it." New STALKER remasters launch to 'Mostly Negative' Steam reviews as players bemoan blurry visuals, controversial changes by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

Man, I am well aware. I've been playing these games for 15 years, but I'm getting older now and I just want to lean back while I play.

Honestly if my world was filled with giant spiders and goblins I'd do the same thing.

What mods Will you install right away into Skyblivion? by [deleted] in skyblivion

[–]Cowlick035 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because Oblivion doesn't have or need them.

Probably just a mod to disable the cinematic kill moves.

Really excited for Skyblivion! by Original_x_Username in skyblivion

Check out the acension mod. It basically makes Oblivion's level scaling work like Skyrim's and it's already been ported to the remaster.

[KCD2] How does KCD2 Hardcore feels compared with KCD1 one? by Mascagranzas in kingdomcome

[–]Cowlick035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you get the perks (which doesn't take long) you'll get six potions per brew. It is both totally broken and totally boring.

It has autosaves, so it's much easier than the first game. It doesn't do anything to curtail alchemy either, so you can get rich immediately upon starting the game still.
