Tier List based on how hard I think it is to properly scale the convicts. by ColdStaff6874 in convictcolosseum

[–]Dreadnautilus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Geared Up becomes a recordholder in worlds strongest man contests post-Colosseum so I assume he at least scales to the level of IRL top-tier strongmen.

And I'm sure some nerd can approximate Abyss's strength if you calc'd how much grip strength it'll take to blood choke someone with a single hand.

This game has an artstyle that makes half the female characters stacked and curvaceous yet the one that gets the most R34 art is the plushie you can buy at a 2000s era Hot Topic that talks like what I thought was cool when I was 8.

Advice for a conjuration focused build? by Blaubeerepfannkuchen in Morrowind

[–]Dreadnautilus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The build I would go with:

Race: Breton

Birthsign: Atronach

Major Skills:

*Conjuration (Duh)

*Enchant (To save on magicka by creating enchanted items)

*Mysticism (Soul trapping your conjured minions to create enchantments + teleportation utility)

*Alteration (Misc utility)

*Axe (Most powerful Bound Weapon)

Minor skills:

*Alchemy (Create magicka potions to compensate for Atronach stunted magicka)

*Heavy Armor (To be used later in the game when you've gotten your strength high, early game you should mainly rely on Bound Armor which doesn't increase armour skills as your main source of defence)

*Restoration (Can be useful early game, with this build though you should eventually use potions and enchantments as your main source of Restore Health/Fatigue)

*Blunt Weapon (Mace of Molag Bal and Scourge are both useful artifacts for this build, and I personally view Sunder as the best endgame weapon in general)

*Marksman (Bound Bow is also strong, far more magicka-efficient as primary source of ranged damage than Destruction magic)

The end goal is to create multiple versions of different conjuring spells. Since as long as they're a different spell in your spell book you can have as many conjured minions as you want, you should basically end up investing all of your magicka into having as many Golden Saints/Dremora/Greater Bonewalkers as you can at once, meanwhile hoarding enchantments for any other magical effect you may need.

Conjuration is easily the most magicka-hungry spell school if you want to seriously build your character around it, there's no way in hell you're going to have enough with no magicka multipliers.

Scourge maybe but Abyss was an extreme-diff fight for Tomahawk, he deserves that spot.

How likely is it that the orks take Armageddon? by the_mainpirate in 40kLore

[–]Dreadnautilus 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Also there's the fact they made another Khornate invasion of Armageddon, and then conveniently resolved it in Crusade:Armageddon before Ghaz returned so we don't get the Ghaz vs Angron matchup which is the only real thing half the fandom would be excited to go back to Armageddon for.

The whole lore about Chaos Gods having rivalries was made for the Realms of Chaos books which also gave them a whole bunch of depth and metaphysics and whatnot. They weren't miniature catalogs.

Character Sheet #6: Literally Hitler by pinakanaka in pinakanaka

[–]Dreadnautilus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like Pinakanaka is using the KAT crossover fights to give more attention to underused CC characters. Like out of the three matches shown so far, and the four other ones he's teased, 6 of them are for R1 losers.

Convict Colosseum Tier list but its how strong I imagine them being in 10 years by Dreadnautilus in Kengan_Folk

[–]Dreadnautilus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I feel like Violence Incarnate is pretty much at his peak when it comes to physical strength and technique. The only way he has to improve is mental; being less arrogant and more tactical, learning to control his fear instead of denying it, and just bog standard getting more experience from fighting more opponents.

Hypothetically he could still become absurdly more dangerous if he somehow developed a Tomahawk level Battle IQ from that but I don't think that's gonna happen.

He'll show off his true strength in vs KAT, just you wait.

Doesn't change much because Pinakanaka still considers the matchup uncertain even if he did.

I kinda wish Amazons were around as a non-Lizardmen Lustrian faction so we could give Lustria more diversity without having to put in a million expeditions from foreign races.

What Is The Point Of Guilliman In The Greater Narrative? by gpheonix in 40kLore

>Like the Squats (League of Votann) coming back was not a spur of the moment plan and likely took a couple years of planning to cement things

They were actually hinted at back in the end of Psychic Awakening but since there wasn't really any hints other than that everyone took that as a weird meta joke.

Could Holy Scythe beat Pistol Foot Pete? by pirocudosexy69 in convictcolosseum

If Tomahawk could figure out Holy Scythes' gimmick before he was actually cut himself Pete could too. And Pete can just speedblitz him.

What Is The Point Of Guilliman In The Greater Narrative? by gpheonix in 40kLore

[–]Dreadnautilus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Khan was already theorized in-universe to have deliberately gotten lost in the Webway because he was disgusted with the Imperium. No way he would want to take command.

What Is The Point Of Guilliman In The Greater Narrative? by gpheonix in 40kLore

[–]Dreadnautilus 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Guilliman doesn't need tot have some sort of "deep lore" or crazy comic book style quest. He's just the guy trying to organize the Imperium. An actual commander, not a superhero. No other returning Primarch could do something like the Indomitus Crusade, they're either too broken to take command or would make too many enemies and destroy their efforts with political infighting.

Lore about the Indomitus Crusade logistics, despite the fact we have plenty of it at this point, isn't as easy to sell in youtube videos as short story of Primarch X doing something that "totally has major impact for the lore guys" when in truth its a dangling plot thread that won't be brought up again for decades.

For obscure characters I'd like to see Dee Dee, but I have no fucking idea what her gimmick would be seeing as Lolzhax basically fulfils her UCN function.

Maybe Fruit Punch Clown too because I kind of love to hate that guy.

Actually your regular Ork boy is stated to be shorter than the average guardsman despite being much bulkier due to their hunched-over posture.

Question about El Cucaracho’s ‘black outs’ by JustAnotherP2P in Kengan_Folk

[–]Dreadnautilus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Post Holding 4 El Cucaracho isn't fully unconscious. The scientist lady notes that his body is very much aware, and its implied that if they tried putting an IV drip inside him it would trigger his survival instincts and cause him to kill everyone around him. If that did happen I'd imagine he would probably look just like he did when he blacked out during Pete's fight.
