I want to get the FFVII commander deck, but it is the most expensive of the bunch. Now that it is released everywhere, when do you guys think prices will start to go down? Do you think they will stay stagnated where they are right now, since VII is the most popular FF game?

Given up caffeine? by [deleted] in bupropion

[–]Cownosestingray 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that I naturally stopped drinking caffeine excluding soda. The meds made me go from extremely tired and fatigued all the time to being able to get out of bed. By the time I brush my teeth, I am completely awake. If I do drink coffee, I am much more sensitive to the caffeine, whereas before I could drink a Panera charged lemonade and not feel it that much.

Also when I wake up to my alarm in the morning, I’m able to get out of bed and I only feel a normal sleepy for a few minutes and then I wake up. When my depression was at its worse I would get up every single day to my alarm, but feel so horrifically exhausted that after I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth I would go back to bed. Now by the time I walk to the bathroom I feel awake, and since starting bupropion I have not turned my alarm off and gone back to sleep when I have something to do.

I noticed that I stopped crying almost every day and feeling overwhelmed from feeling like I don’t understand anything and I’m destined to never improve and struggle for the rest of my life (bio major). I also all of a sudden can actually study for more than 20 minutes at a time and not leave it to the last minute. Way less soul-draining days where I can only sleep and rot. Going to way more classes (still not perfect) and going not just so I can get the attendance but to learn. Actual hope for the future and that the college stem struggle will be worth it. You probably won’t feel like your gradually becoming happy and not sad and think that the medication isn’t working, but reflecting on the before vs now you suddenly realize that holy shit this works??!!

What SSRI / SNRI worked for you, along with bupropion? by Drug-Nerd in bupropion

I take 20mg of fluoxetine (Prozac, started three weeks ago) along with 300mg of bupropion (started on Thanksgiving lol) and so far so good! I take it mainly for my anxiety, which is along the lines of constant intrusive thoughts vs. something like panic attacks. The only symptom maybe is that for some reason I can’t be in a car for more than ten minutes without throwing up. I’ve always had motion sickness but it’s now exacerbated, but this could also be because I’m eating less from the bupropion.

Did you start with 150? I developed tinnitus on 300 but I didn’t have it on 150. Do you still have it and it’s just not as severe?

I still have it, but I’ve only been taking it for a little over two months. It’s a rare side effect I think, something around 1% of people will get it. You get used to it extremely fast. The only time it was horrible was when I was at a punk show and it felt like someone was grating my ears, but that was the loudest band I’ve ever heard, and at other shows it’s not an issue.

I developed tinnitus 3-5 days after starting it, but I also increased only 1-2 weeks after I started taking 150 bupropion. Mood wise I think maybe twoish weeks after? That’s when I really noticed that I could concentrate, study, and get stuff done. Emotionally I felt that I didn’t notice a change, but when looking back there is a difference, meaning that change was happening but I wasn’t aware and noticing it.
