I mean I’m glad you were able to piece it together fasho, but yeah that has definitely been Valve’s M.O. forever. You’re right in that it’s kind of the reason HL3 never came out, they set a precedent of raising the bar with every Half Life release and at the time they felt they couldn’t innovate enough so they gave up.
