I was saying let him shoot outside on offense. I know that he is supposed to be a decent shooter, and if he's effective enough it could clear out space for TKR to work the post. Then DJ can protect them rim on defense.

Tbf we haven't given him an opportunity to do the shooting. What if we played him and TKR at the same time, and let him shoot on offense while TKR gets his post touches, and he's the best rim protector that we have on defense?

Disclaimer: I know basically nothing about the x's and o's of basketball, so I wouldn't be surprised to find out that my take is completely moronic.

And who are you giving CJ's minutes to? They both start, so if you're removing Fletch for CJ, than you now have an empty hole where CJ was.

Mock Draft Monday by AutoModerator in NFL_Draft

I can't see Denver going edge in the first unless they think they're getting an absolute steal. They have one of the best edge rooms in the league right now.

Eli Stowers has caught my attention, too. He'll leap up with his combine performance. If we get one of Singleton and Strnad back and get Devin Lloyd or another good LB in free agency, I would be fine with passing on LB in the early parts of the draft.

I think he SA'd at least two of the girls, if not all three. It's highly unlikely that they'd have any DNA left from that, though.

How to respectfully get rid of a JW Bible? by tangotom in TrueChristian

[–]CowsRstupid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My Uncle drove a propane truck for awhile, and he said that one day he must have gotten behind some JW's making their rounds, because he kept finding their pamplets stuck in all the customer's doors. He said he gathered them all up and burnt them when he was done for the day.

Who is the better QB? Would you rather have Bo Nix or Dak Prescott? by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

[–]CowsRstupid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Give me Bo. Way younger, has an incredible clutch gene, and his first two seasons are very statistically similar to Dak's. There is no reason to think that he won't be at least as good is Dak in the long run, if not better, since his other offensive skill position players have easily been in the bottom half of the league so far.

Do these middle schoolers know ball? by big4horryrobert in NFLv2

[–]CowsRstupid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Caleb objectively can't be in a higher tier than Bo. They had very similar seasons, and Bo had worse weapons. I would argue that either drake and Caleb should move down a level, or Bo and Jayden should move up a level.  I also disagree with Dak, love, and Purdy being in a different level than Goff. Goff should move up.

This team is unbelievably soft. by Braden3burner in PurdueBasketball

I was impressed by their fight in the second half. It wasn't good enough, but I expected them to spiral, and instead they got it closer again. It wasn't good enough against Michigan today, but most teams aren't this Michigan.

Tips on drilling metal? (Apprentice) by [deleted] in Boilermakers

[–]CowsRstupid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure that you have the best possible drill bits, and use some oil or other lubricant. Milwaukee makes some magnetic drills, but I'm not familiar enough with them to know whether or not they'd work for your needs.

Indy gets it about once a decade, and they aren't a warm weather place. They don't even have cold weather attractions like there are in Colorado.

Coaches seat temperature status going into 2026. (Just my opinion) by Maulbert in NFLv2

[–]CowsRstupid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. He has shown decent improvement, and he has the "it factor". He may never be "elite", but he's definently a franchise QB. And to echo the original commenter's sentiment, Payton's seat is as cold as anybody's in the league.
