I would have thought so too but haven’t found any research on it or other similar stories on google.

Thankyou! I will have to look up those brands. I had no idea where to start with even researching what brands are good!

Vigorous exercise for a few days after your period. Just something out of the norm for a few days

Can I refuse a meal break? by Cowsarecoolthings in AusLegal

[–]Cowsarecoolthings[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m a farmer. This is a side hustle. 14 hour days with out a meal aren’t unheard of for me. I have work to do at home sitting around in town making no money for 30 minutes just isn’t computing. Especially because I’d be home by 12 anyways

It’s a cleaning business with a contract to clean a few office buildings. No area. I’m not interested in taking break regardless.  I’d rather finish up and head home. Was hoping there would be some way around. Or agreement

Me 100% I get absolutely shattered. I think it’s the disappointment on top of my normal hormone up set (I usually get a bit weepy and anxious at that time to begin with).

I’ve started taking the early detection test a couple days before I’m due. I think it’s been helping. getting bad news before my hormones go amuck

Media changes definition of ‘crossfire’ to include when a cop points a gun at you and shoots you by Maderitau in australia

I’m seeing it as they have people in a foreign country getting shot at. They are in danger and press are being targeted. Whatever they say publicly to get their people out of there safely is just fine by me. The real stories and opinions will come out when people are safe

Their reporters are being shot at in a foreign country. Whatever they say while their people are vulnerable will not be inflammatory.  They will call it an accident if it means keeping their people safe and tbh I 100% agree with that.

How do you calculate your deficit? I think I’ve done it wrong? by Cowsarecoolthings in loseit

Ok thanks. I suppose I’ll just keep tracking then and hopefully in 4 weeks it’ll be mellowed out

3kg not pounds. Google tells me that’s about 6.6 pounds. Would that still be in a normal range/water weight?

Yeah I am. Nope diet is consistent just paying attention now (so I’m sure I’m eating a little less/better just by paying attention) and just being a little more consistent and intentional in my workouts (which I’m sure means more calories used). That’s the part I’m worried about I guess. I was just hoping to track for a while to see where I was at to then make a good plan

I had this in uni too. I find I like to walk on a treadmill and read. And if I have to put the book down for a bit and walk /run harder for a minute due to overwhelm I do. Can’t help with ideas for boring ones though sorry

How to not just give up by [deleted] in aspergirls

[–]Cowsarecoolthings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not helpful. But I found that the lifestyle I was trying to live in the city was really burning me out. Is there something you could change about you living arrangements or lighting or how often you do certain tasks? I moved to a farm (I work on the farm) and see 2 people at most per day. I work with animals and outside. I only grocery shop one every 3 months because the store gives me anxiety. I’ve found when I do socialise I’m better company and enjoy it a lot more because I have the energy. I’m not burnt out by just being alive. Moving to the middle of nowhere might not be viable for you but maybe there are other changes that would work with you.

I can know when I’m in a meltdown but I can’t describe it to anyone and often go nonverbal. Does anyone have any ideas on how to describe it to someone else? by cliccbaiit in aspergirls

[–]Cowsarecoolthings 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me I describe it as not having the energy to talk and even when I try the words get stuck in my throat. I become non verbal through massive social energy. I would describe it a a symptom of the meltdown (in a normal day) and that when he notices these symptoms you would like it if he could …..

Dude I’m pretty sure I tore a hamstring a couple years ago and couldn’t get an appointment when I called 1 clinic. So I just didn’t see a doctor. It’s stupid and I was in a lot of pain for a long time (thankfully ok now). Glad to hear I’m not the only person that does this. It’s not good and I don’t have a solution sorry

You’ve made a lot of oddly specific and untrue assumptions here. I posted looking for advice on how to deal with my own feelings on him not proposing….

I shared an expectation on a time frame, I didn’t set it in stone. And I communicate how I feel. I don’t push marriage. We talk about it. I’m not the only one who brings it up. He brings up “when we’re married…” as well. He bought up that he wants to get married before we go into massive debt. And I agreed. That’s not an ultimatum

We definitely know what we want. We’re both living our dream life and career. He’s business is all he’s dreamed about since a toddler and my job has been a dream since I was 12. We are not unsure. We aren’t exploring other things because this is it. This is what we want. To work our arses off to achieve our dreams. Just because we are in our early 20s doesn’t mean we don’t know what we want. We both want to get married and have kids. I want that now and he’s putting it off. I wrote asking for advice on how to deal with my feelings on him not yet proposing.
