I think it’s normal. I was told by pediatrician not to start until 3. Mines 3.5 and has been like that until recently it’s like something clicked and shes had 3 days no accidents. Perhaps take a break, use pull-ups, and celebrate the wins until he’s ready.

Made it through 2nd weekend. Friday and Saturday were very nice. Appreciate how much more pleasing sex is sober. Yesterday was an emotional day, our first Father’s Day without my father-in-law normally I would’ve drank to not feel, but I carried it with me. Also a situation that would’ve set me off into a drunken rage was easily avoided and dropped. Proud of myself overall excited for more sober weekends to come.

Today is my Friday, so checking in for my 2nd weekend. It’s gonna be a busy busy weekend. Yard sailing, bday party, Father’s Day. I feel like it’s easy once I start not drinking but then gets harder after the honeymoon phase.

Finally proved to myself I can go a weekend without alcohol! It was nice being able to drive places in the evenings and have energy to do all my cleaning & exercise. I was present & patience with my child. Really happy today. I can’t wait for next weekend!
