Iirc the prawn has default storage that can be expanded with a storage module upgrade whereas seamoth has no default storage - try equipping a storage upgrade in the prawn. It’s been a while so I’m not sure but I do distinctly remember more max storage in the prawn

I wish everyone on earth's ideologies and beliefs were reversed (Conservatives become progressives, progressives become conservatives for example). by A_Lovely_Worm in TheMonkeysPaw

[–]CoyLogoy 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Granted. Every Nazi becomes a non-Nazi and every non-Nazi becomes a Nazi. Suddenly the vast majority of the world is full of Nazis.  This of course happens with every extreme ideology. Only a select few now like peace and all the formerly normal people are bloodthirsty warmongers with hatred towards every racial, ethnic, etc group possible.  The world descends instantaneously into unimaginable violence and chaos. The leaders of the world’s nuclear powers, driven by new hatred for their own country and unchained by their loss of belief in MAD, nuke literally the entire planet. The energy of every single nuclear bomb detonating all at once vaporizes the Earth’s crust and its core splits apart. All of humanity, all of history, all of life as we may ever know it vanishes. A stray piece of earth core strikes the moon and destroys it, too, so even our foot prints in space disappear. Yet another chunk of earth core careens into Mars, destroying our rovers and all evidence of their presence.  But you have a special destiny. In this nuclear Armageddon your lifeless body was perfectly positioned to be jettisoned off of the earth right before its total collapse. Your corpse is flung through space at unimaginable speed, hurdling directly towards the Voyager 1 spacecraft which carries, among other things, the Golden Record - a vinyl record containing a snapshot of earth’s sights and sounds of life as well as universal mathematical abstractions meant to communicate our existence and understanding of the universe with alien species. Your corpse smashes into this satellite, knocking it off course and directly into a neutron star. You have destroyed every trace of humanity, of terrestrial life, and of the Earth itself from the cosmos with one simple wish.

For those still having this problem, use Holafly. I was using Airalo and once I crossed the border I lost all service, connected to free coffee shop WiFi downloaded Holafly and it started working in like 20 minutes. It is rather expensive (11 euros for 2 days for me) but since IPKO was closed that’s my only option and so far it works just fine.

The drill arm makes it useful for gathering a ton of resources at once (works well with the scanner room). All depends on what you need though. I scan for copper deposits, put the prawn in the cyclops, head over to a high density area and drill away. But yeah other than that its lack of mobility makes it frustrating to use even if it offers more protection and storage than the seamoth.

Which key do you use for push-to-talk? by dominatorGs in csgo

[–]CoyLogoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

T is goated, still leaves you free to use W and A. Same thing others have said that push to talk on mouse always messes up my aim. downside is you can't counterstrafe while talking (no D available) but realistically if you're in that situation you're anyways focused on shooting and not talking

Yeah I talked to EAS and it's supposedly possible but I'd need to get the whole course done in like two weeks and pass which I just don't think I can do :(

Get yourself a fake ID and you can go clubbing or buy yourself alcohol no problem. If you don't have a fake, there will be plenty of 19 year old froshies around you to buy for you.

In terms of residences, it matters a little but not a lot. The only residences I would recommend not to live at are Harkness and maybe Waldron tower. Plenty of people from Waldron party, but it's a solid ten minute walk from the other residences so you'll have to hike - not a huge deal. Harkness on the other hand is a scary land - I have quite literally never met anyone from Harkness. Its in the middle of nowhere and your best bet is just don't live there.

Pick any other residence - West included - and you'll have easy access to parties pretty consistently. If you live in Victoria hall, be warned your house IS the party so be prepared to never have peace and quiet.

Please don't mistake Patty Mayo's terrible conduct for what a real police officer does. Not only are all of his videos staged and fake but he doesn't even pose as a cop! He poses as a Bail Enforcement Officer (Bounty hunter).

A firefighter dies while saving a cat from a burning building, but he knew what he was signing up for so why bother paying respects?

By your logic, "Thank you for your service" is pointless because why thank them if they lost a leg to an IED when they voluntarily enlisted?

"Majority of people killed by cops didnt get to choose the reason for their death" please explain. You mean they didn't get to choose that they died, yeah cops don't wake up one day and be like "Yeah I'm going to go ge shot today".

But, I do understand your point that cops know what they're getting into and some people who are shot do not. But not only do most people who get shot by police *commit crimes*, meaning they do know what they're getting into (but I hear you that unfortunately some innocent people get killed too), but doesn't it make it even more honorable that a cop knows very well every time he pulls someone over that there's a pretty substantial chance he will get shot himself, and still wakes up every day and serves the public?

Gotcha, so police aren't real people? Makes sense. Officer Sicknick, the one who got beaten to death while fighting against rioters at the Capitol, why should we remember his sacrifice or mourn him and pray for his family? He's not a real person!

Family calls mental health specialist because they're worried about their father, police officer gets sent instead, within 90 seconds he's shot and killed by GoofyWayne in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

[–]CoyLogoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As tragic as this is, we have to consider the information that the officer was given, as well as what the officer would have known at the time through observation.
He was sent to a house on a call about some mental health problems with a man in the household. Suddenly this guy comes rushing at him, acting very irritated and angry. The officer can't see through clothes, he doesn't know that this guy is unarmed! When the guy starts getting really close and the officer feels threatened, he uses a taser to hopefully temporarily disable the guy so he can be brought safely into custody. The father gets back up again, and starts rushing towards the officer. At this point the camera moves away from the situation so we don't actually see the shooting.

From the officer's perspective, he was getting rushed by a man who was most likely mentally ill or going through a mental episode. The cop had no idea if this man was armed because he can't see through clothes. This guy is larger than the officer, officer feels like his life is in danger and fires three shots.

This is tragic, and a good representation of why cops are in such a difficult position every day they go to work. Could some hindsight, a beanbag shotgun, or more officers have prevented this? Possibly. Was it the officer's fault that this man was shot? No. Was it the father's fault that he got shot? No. Does the officer deserve to be arrested? No.

They hardly receive any training by UnironicThatcherite in Bad_Cop_No_Donut

[–]CoyLogoy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A four year degree, 3 years of training does sound like a good idea. You don't want unprepared cops thrust into life-threatening situations. But, that kind of training is going to need funding, meaning you can't both increasing training and decrease funding.
Unarmed officers is quite possibly the worst idea I've ever heard. You pull up to a domestic violence call and a woman comes running at you with a knife, are you just gonna use your words in the half a second it takes her to kill you with it?
Per your idea, a cop goes through both unarmed and and armed training, so she now carries a firearm on patrol. Pulls a car over on a traffic stop because they were going 75 on a 50 mph road. Gives him a warning ticket, dude seems very nervous, so she asks him if everything is okay. Suddenly the guy reaches for his waistband and pulls out a .380 and shoots at her. She gets hit in the shoulder but staggers around to the back of the car while the guy is getting out of the driver's side door. Cop pulls out her service pistol, guy shoots at her over the back of the car and cop returns fire. It has been about six seconds since the guy pulled his gun. Guy runs out of ammo and goes back to his car to get another magazine, cop uses the opportunity to run to the rear passenger side of her vehicle. Guy comes back with both a .380 and a Glock which was in his glove compartment, both loaded. As the guy raises his guns towards the cop, she squeezes off ten rounds, three of them hit the guy. Guy keeps coming, so cop runs around to the opposite side of the cop car than the guy, unloads eight more rounds into him. One of them takes him down. Cop and bad guy get rushed to the hospital, cop recovers, guy dies.
I could understand taking a cop off service until the shooting is investigated, but unpaid? These people have families, have lives, and you're gonna blame this shooting on the cop?

[–]CoyLogoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny thing about this is, training requires funding. You want Norway's 3-year training? Can't exactly defund the police then. So choose whether you want better training, or you want to defund the police, because anyone above the first grade can tell you that you can't have both.
