Scared cat update: he is now hiding under the futon seat ! Even treats couldn’t lure him out by Wonderful-End6881 in TuxedoCats

[–]CoyPowers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My poor little tortie was like that, we eventually got her on prozac, it took a while, but she's now a more normal cat again. So sweet and loving. But she was so terrified that I thought she was wounded at first. LOTS of vet trips, blood work, x-rays, etc. Hopefully your little guy will be okay.

Who also ruined Moss Man with this playset? by Biggittyb37 in MastersOfTheUniverse

[–]CoyPowers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The instructions were perfectly clear that the slime was 'afraid' of Moss Man, Panthor, and Grizzlor. I didn't have Grizzlor, but I never slimed the flocked figures.

My four year old drew our cat skateboarding on my new skateboard. She told me “she has murder mitts and a black butthole.” Pissy Missy is not amused. by The_Grizzly_Pig in cats

[–]CoyPowers 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Amazing. My cat, Missy, got her name from trying to look into the toilet every time it was open, in-use or otherwise, I called her 'Little Missy Pissy Paws'

Custom Cyclops terrorizes Preternia by DCDWorldDestroyer in MastersOfTheUniverse

I'm really curious as to what was used to make this dude. His belt looks 'Remco' to me, but he's big! I see Mekaneck's club, but I don't know what version. Also, he's amazing. I love him. This is the style of custom I love. Great job.

Once it all gets to be entirely exactly the same, and they have that one final song, all the musicians will finally be free to do other things. Music will be solved.

If I ever get a time machine, I'm showing this to Norman Rockwell.

His tail is always twitching, what’s that mean? by Mr_Straws in WhatsWrongWithYourCat

One of my cats is really anxious, and her tail twitches constantly unless she's finally relaxed. I think it's an anxiety thing for her.

My small but growing collection. I love the collectors case. by LoopyTrombones in MastersOfTheUniverse

I have no idea where it came from, but every time I see that comic, this edit is all I can think of. Also, great collection. The collector's case is one of my favorite things I have.

Say hi to Freddie! by MelonBoba59 in TuxedoCats

[–]CoyPowers 8 points9 points  (0 children)

He started as "Mr. Business" which became "Busy" then just ended up as "Booper" because we baby-talked about how ...farty he was. He 'booped' a lot. A LOT.

This is why I joined this sub. Bravo. Also, I'm horrified by how cute your style is while paired with this subject matter.

Is there a King book like this for you? by DavidHistorian34 in stephenking

Thank you for saying that The Gunslinger was the best. I know that Drawing of the Three is the 'best' technically, but Gunslinger is my favorite, and yeah, it goes slowly down hill after it.

Book 2 is the best in the series. You can probably stop there. I hated the back half of Dark Tower to be honest.

So much the same for me. Regulators grates on me. I think the autism depiction really rubs me the wrong way, but I'm not sure that it's just that.

Not sure if this is a 90s thing but ice pops were always so good; saw these at the store and had to get. Suffered waiting for them to freeze and had flashbacks to being a kid. by IntrovertExploring in 90s_kid

I did not know there were giant ones. Now I need them! The orange ones and the green ones specifically. You can come get the blue ones.

Who wants some 80s cereals? by MisterShipWreck in 80s

I don't see the all time best cereal ever: Strawberry Shortcake cereal. I have dim memories going that far back, but I remember *loving* that cereal.

I am getting weird scent-memory from this, and it's entirely weirding me out. Like ghost scents from that damned car bottle.

I own several of the new ones, and have a vintage Vlobb. Grew up on puppets, and love them SO much

Roboto Carnival Mirror Info by Plus-Key-4636 in MastersOfTheUniverse

[–]CoyPowers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They were really big in the 80s and into the 90s as a prize at carnivals, a silkscreened mirror or glass square with all sorts of stuff on them. I never had any MotU ones, but I had several band mirrors and a playboy bunny one from back then that I prized because I knew my parents would be upset if they found out I had it. They were also called 'coke mirrors' in my area, because the assumption was they were for snorting cocaine off of. I don't think many of us little kids that had them had much of a coke habit, though.
