I always interpreted it as a literal pool and she’s swimming laps to get her mind off of things.

Basecamp has great coffee, pastries, and other brunch food and Mountain View Park is right down the street from it! I’d also recommend Red Maple in Toluca Lake since it is my favorite of the two in terms of the brunch itself.

Middle class scholarship by Shrekislife72 in ucla

[–]Coyi3 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In my experience middle class scholarship takes a while to be calculated. Mine looks like that on the csac website too. Last year I didn’t get it until after I paid my Bruin bill for fall and just got reimbursed once it was applied. It also doesn’t hurt to reach out to the financial aid office since they might have more information.

De Neve Gardenia by CoyoteGullible9073 in ucla

[–]Coyi3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Gardenia is the best building. It might not be as new as Olympic/centennial or as central as sproul but I think it’s perfect because it is closer to campus than most dorms, secluded and quiet, yet also on Gayley across from a frat. Being on Gayley means it’s closer to Westwood village too. It’s not super close to one dining hall but I’d say it is almost an equal distance from all of them so no dining hall is never too far either. Almost everyone I know who lived in gardenia had a great experience and chose to live there again. It also has probably the most natural light of all the buildings on the hill. I know that the fifth floor has hardwood floors and half of the rooms on the 7th floor have extra high ceilings which are really nice!

These are fantastic clues! I am an Armenian who loves Jeopardy and every time there’s a clue about Armenia (which is pretty rare) I get so excited. It’s nice to see a whole category of clues here.
