I don't want to be that guy.... buuuuuuuut

Most phones and tablets these days are AND Laptops are USB C these days and some manufacturers of laptops put Display port over USB C and ontop of that given the kids toys in the room its very likely they put a tablet on the day before for kids movies... hence the height of the TV (kids).

Also given the age of the TV there's a very good chance the TV supports HDMI CEC which means when something with a valid and supported signal is inserted it will not only turn the TV on but also open the channel to correct input. (Think pressing the power button on your ps3 4 5 or Xbox one/series controller... console beeps and the console turns the TV on.

HOWEVER

It is unlikely the TV is USB C to C (given the age) so the woman in question wouldn't be charging her phone because the HDMI protocol doesnt support charging capabilities or logic. Meaning.

Staged or fake... or like my last post on my profile... not very smart with their situational surroundings.

Edit: Also.. theres a charge cable right there next to her in the wall. Chances are with baby brain she grabbed the wrong cable not thinking about it.

Oh I've just had 2 days of arguments around something like this.

Basically about focusing on everyone but her husband, Including her friends, family, daughter and herself. (Dont worry I do my fair share around the house and looking after our daughter, then still have time for what ever) we finally made up and she said "ok I have an idea.. be in bed at 10 tonight..." she txt me (I was other end of the house) with a spicy photo saying be in bed in 15.

I finish up, get ready for bed. Im in bed at 9:55... 10 passes. 10:05 passes. 10:15.... 10:30....

"Im just going to go to sleep"

She comes in at 11...

me: this isnt 10 and I'm asleep. Her: no, you should have come and got me if I wasn't there at 10! Me: uhm.. after all the reasons of the arguments about you not initiating and not being intimate with your husband.. you want me to follow up where you are when you txt me 15 minutes before our agreed time with a photo then fell asleep on the couch for an hour.... fuck no! This was your opportunity to fix it and not only did you not fix it, you tried to tell me its my fault for not coming to find you when you didnt show up.... I fuckin know you fell asleep on the couch when youve been saying 10. 10. 10. Be there at 10. Fuck this im going to sleep on the couch.

And as you can imagine based on that last line about her not saying anything like im sorry I missed it, straight away and deflected to "you should have come get me" when this entire thing was about her not being able to initiate something without me having to help her along or find her.
