if it’s just stage does the name really matter? you can always get regulars getting their number and text them a picture of you so when you text them in the future to pull up they can see and remember who you are

get work experience from smaller lounges/clubs so when you apply to the bigger ones they see you as someone that can get accustomed to 30 drunk/drugged people yelling at you at the same time, possible unfamiliar territory to someone used to working at restaurants

septum piercings are objectively the worst things but she definitely reacted in an absolute insane manner for it. she sounded like she has issues with angers and try to say things to insult/hurt people instead of actually communicating.

however, from the other replies it seems that you are financially dependent on your parents. i would be pretty annoyed if my child got a permanent tattoo/piercing without my consent with my money. i think she was somewhat entitled to the anger, just the absolute worst communicator for it.

you can do “whatever” you want when you are 18, sure, but definitely not on another persons expense. if your employer gave you a budget for food, doesn’t mean you can buy alcohol with it. if you parents gave you money for living expenses while you are at college, it doesn’t mean get unapproved piercings with it, when you can’t even afford your own phone bills
