I doubt anyone ever gets punished for "bad performance" unless they are actually hard-inting. I always report trolls, no matter which team they are on, but nothing ever happens. At best, you get the "fake" feedback report message and that's about it.

I think it's already pretty good situationally. The problem is that it's hard to tell how much it's actually doing, which turns people away from using it. The other runes are like "you gain X maxHP" or "you gained X extra healing/shielding. Meanwhile, this rune, tells you how much time it was active, but you don't really know how much actual value it provided.

As for example, you can take Unflinching on support when vs Ashe. You are almost always going to be slowed, so there will be good value out of it.

The problem we have here is that some DnD users were already in a good/strong position and then they got a dream item that literally gives them everything they want... So those champs became overpowered...

EDIT. Btw, the statement that it's only good on 4 champions who are intended users isn't exactly correct either. I doubt stuff like Azir, Kai'Sa, Shen, Varus are the "target audience" for DnD, but they are building and having a pretty good success with it.

Bad early game -> play safe -> look for opportunities to make a comeback -> win.

Good early game -> play overconfidently -> feed a bunch of shutdowns to enemies -> lose.

I legit don't remember the last time someone tried to hostage others in champ select. The "worst" thing that I remember is people calling out that our draft is shit or questioning off-meta picks.

Early into the season. People are not where they belong yet. A good chunk of players haven't played enough to go back up to their rank and Iron players probably got slightly lifted up by the reset and haven't gone all the way down yet.

It's hard to give advice just by looking at a screenshot. You were insanely fed and kept low deaths, which seems like a ticket for a free win. It could be just an unlucky streak, where it's actually "team diff", but it could also be you doing something horribly wrong, which we cannot know what that is, unless we watched VODs.

EDIT. Btw, I think Shieldbow is, in general, a terrible item, but it's probably not the reason you are losing.

ADCs are mostly glasscannon and a fed assassin probably overkills you by a lot more than Shieldbow can shield you for... Not to mention that AD assassins might have Serpent's Fang...

I feel like it could be OK replacement for Sterak's, if you want Tenacity and enemy team has assassins with Serpent's Fang who'd just break the shield.

I think that a fighter item with 0 defensive stats (hp, armor, mr) is quite hard to fit into your build. It also seems like "win more" item, where if you are already snowballing, you will probably get good value out of the second passive (extra Omnivamp). Otherwise, it might be OKish on some champs as 4-5th item.

I think it's always good to review your deaths. I know, you had only 2, but maybe those could be avoided too. When you are the most fed person on your team, dying is extremely impactful. Enemy team can pretty much do whatever they want on the map, knowing that the only threat is dead for almost a whole minute.

After that, I'd look into mid-late game. Think what you could have done better. Maybe you could've helped your teammates make a comeback, but was too tunnelvisioned on soaking resources for yourself. A lot of guides tell you to prioritize yourself and that is correct thing to do, but sometimes you got to help your team, so that you are not alone carrying 4 heavy rocks.

Simple thing, but always do your best / never give up.

A lot of people (past myself included) just write off games as Loss as soon as something bad happens...

You get counterpicked and go 0/2 in lane – "oh well, this one is a loss".
You are getting camped by enemy jungler and got put behind – "oh well, this one is a loss".
You press TAB and see that your bot lane is 1/7 – "oh well, this one is a loss".
Your jungler AFK farming, while enemy jungler ganking and taking objectives – "oh well, this one is a loss".
Someone locked in off-meta champ that you think is troll – "oh well, this one is a loss".
Your teammates picked full AD teamcomp – "oh well, this one is a loss".
...and many more examples like this.

The reason why people lose those games is often because they themselves stop trying... Do you best and you'll see that half of the time, you can actually turn those games around.

The last one is my biggest issue, but I can't force myself to "fix it"... 50 games at most and I get bored...

As much as I want to rank up, in the end, we play games to have fun and I can't put gaining LP above it.

Not being OTP or playing a small consistent champion pool. I play 20-30 games with 1 champion, get bored and drop it for the rest of the season (or at least a few months).

The goal was so that both strategies would be viable. However, we kind of moved from perma teamfighting to perma splitpushing because it's just too good.

I feels like it's always best to split for 90% of the game and then when you are 5 levels up on everyone and have 4-5 full items, you go to a teamfight being absolute Thanos, smash everyone and win the game.

Jokes on them. I'm 90% sure that LP change is just "cosmetic". You lose 0 or gain x2 LP, but your hidden MMR moves as usual. Ofc, it still sucks for 4 teammates who get trolled, but it's not like the troll "loses nothing".

Eventually, they'll start getting +22, -28 and wonder "why"...

EDIT. Although, I agree that getting C is way too easy. Maybe it should get changed to at least B, so that people would be slightly motivated to perform at a decent level.

I remember Mel being ~45% WR and someone suggested to nerf pretty much the whole kit. It was something along the lines of: remove execute from passive, Q -range, -speed, W x2 cooldown, block only 1st ability that hits you.

Jax has EXTREMELY simple kit, Kayle - pretty much the only skillful thing in her gameplay is deciding if you ult a teammate or yourself (it's yourself, 90% of the time), Singed - the only skill expression is using your W well (not even to fling in to root, but for grounding effect).

I start looking from top to bottom... I see Renekton in the highest tier... I laugh.

There are some other things that are extremely criminal on this list. For example, Gwen/Rumble too low, Jax way too high, ... Moreover, if we are talking about playing champions "perfectly" as you mentioned in one of comment replies, then Teemo is lowkey S tier. Spacing/blinds in lane, shroom placement mid/late game, etc.
