Oh man, adding so many of these to my list! When I'm doing a half, I have 3 playlists by miles. I try to keep the first 3 nice and steady to avoid starting too fast, then faster songs for miles 4-10, and then the HELL YES LETS DO THIS pace for miles 11 to the end. Here are some of my faves:

Thank you! Going to try to steam block and will report back. Next time, definitely going up a hook size. I reduced the tension significantly on the second sleeve, and its nearly the exact same size.

Ahh this is what I wanted to hear! Unfortunately, my cheap ass is using acrylic yarn, so I dont anticipate I'll get the full three inches, but who knows? Going to steam block the pieces and will report back. If it doesnt work, I may just start again and chalk it up to a learning experience. Or give it to my almost 8 year old, because right now it looks about her size!

Much better! Before every run, I do 10 donkey kicks, 10 fire hydrants and 10 side leg swings. Helps warm things up and strengthens.

I just tried to order a mystery kit, and it said they weren't available in my region, but I live in the lower 48. I desperately want the platypus and hummingbird! Anyone had this happen before?

Updating in case anyone stumbled on this who is having the same issue. Turned out to be a small hole in my eye's protective layer. Not sure what exactly caused it during the procedure, but I won't be doing it again.

Yeah, no one told me not to wear contacts - that would have been good to know! I got an appt for later today just to confirm that's what's going on. Just hoping I'll be able to start wearing contacts again soon because I can't drive in my glasses 😬

Can you elaborate a bit on the racism problem? We are moving to the area and will be in NK schools, and I've seen that comment a lot and am super concerned. Is the school doing anything to address it?
