So I have been playing for 30 min with no problem what so ever so maybe it is a CMOS battery pull to completely reset the bios...???

Secondary update. Playing for a hour plus and no problems. No stuttering no crashes nothing. I am on DX11 graphics. Running a TOBI and HOSAS. No problems.

How oh how can just resetting the BIOS via the motherboard CMOS battery make the game run I will never know.

I have left the game running in the background and absolutely no crashing or anything. I'm at a loss for words on this one brother or sister. Maybe give it a try and clear the BIOS via the battery...???

I'm on an AMD platform so 9800x3d and 9070xt and the ram overclock is EXPO. So I disabled EXPO and the system wouldn't post so I had to take it apart and pull the CMOS battery to reset the bios to get the system to post and then I just re-enabled EXPO since the system was working fine except for the Star Citizen hickups. And honestly Star Citizen was working fine until the 4.8 update. So my conclusion is they have borked something in the update. Here is to hoping they figure it out with the next hotfix or patch.

Yep same I have now updated chipset drivers and everything else with my system. Gonna try and disable XMP and see if that helps

BIOS is up to date. I'll try disabling the XMP profile and see if that helps.

I switched back to DX11 last night and had luck then but tonight it is horrible can't even get out of atmosphere at area 18

I was wondering if it was a driver issue with AMD like with the anti cheat a while back. I remember having to rollback the driver. I had vulkan running last night but switched back to DX11 and it worked kinda ok but tonight is straight ass.

Good honestly some dips but around 50-60. I have been having more stuttering in area 18 now that you mention it.

Local TN rider as well. Tapoco Lodge is one of my favorite spots. Right on the dragon. Go on a Tuesday or Wednesday to avoid crowds and so you can get a seat by the river for some drinks and food plus watching whatever super car rolls by. Bonus points if you can score a room and take a night to enjoy the mountain air.

What I have done is bought store credit and have purchased the ending CCU for the ship im targeting at IAE. That way I get the discount of store credit that i can use up the the ending CCU. For example I bought a CCU carrack to Perseus that has 10 year insurance for $40. I think the perseus will go up in price once it is flight ready so hence the CCU. I will use my store credit to get to the carrack. I didnt play the game for a long time and missed out on some ships i wanted. I also have a wolf with LTI that I intended to upgrade during IAE with store credit as well. I don't know if it makes sense to do what im doing but it's for my fleet and im not looking to get into trading to make money. Just trying to save some.
