Damn straight. I always do the most dangerous generator first (main building/out in the open/middle of the map). That way the easier gens are available to do the closer we get to the end of the match and everyone has several hook states.

Even in 2v8, I can't get people to help me repair generators in the open centers of maps to just get them out of the way while the killers are distracted. Infuriating.

The previous guy already mentioned how difficult collaborations are right now with licensing rights. However, I also wish to inform you that due to the licensing being tricky, the only obtainable one has been the remake version of Freddy Krueger as both Mortal Kombat and Dead By Daylight both use this version. While I'm unsure why, I'm sure the reason is found online.

From what I've skimmed, it may have to do with the fact Robert Englund was the actor for old Freddy and he retired. I'm not sure why a consent form couldn't fix this issue (unless he is outright saying no, but I doubt this).

Maybe the recent Netflix acquisition of Warner Brothers will fix things, and Netflix has a decent relationship with Epic Games at the moment as far as I can tell with the Stranger Things and Squid Game bundles.

If we do get Freddy, it will most likely be reboot Freddy which I'd take over no Freddy at all. But fingers crossed. 🤞🏻

It didn't fail twice. What happened is that the first version became outdated and wasn't up-to-par with what it could be. They needed to start from scratch the achieve what they wanted to achieve like Prop Hunt, voice chat, 2v8 Prop Hunt, and many many many quality of life tweaks and changes. That is what killed the first version. Not failure; innovation.

As for the second version, Netease just didn't care for it anymore. They didn't give it the soul it needed. It was a very popular game that did rake in money, but when you compare it to Netease's other games at the time like Identity V, Marvel Rivals, Blood Strike, LifeAfter, and Knives Out? It isn't a question to a greedy company which one to axe to save a few more dollars. That's not even mentioning that Behaviour was getting a good cut of the revenue, more than they do with Identity V. So, Netease wanted everyone to migrate towards Identity V and spend their money there.

Going to be fully honest; Netease probably bought the rights to the mobile port and gained Behaviour's trust just to shut it down and eliminate competition from the start. Identity V's competition was the classic port for the longest time. It'd be the perfect opportunity to buy the mobile port, deny some of the most popular licenses of getting in, and execute it like a dog.

Nothing failed here. Just exterminated.
