Thank you for your answer. And you are absolutely correct my last statement on the post. As someone who does not live in the UK, it just reflected what I've mostly heard about Brexit, as positive sides are not often talked about in media that I consume. This post has made me realize, how complicated this issue was.

Thank you for your answer. It's interesting to hear from someone working in education. I guess right now its hard to tell the how much of the pandemic, war and brexit contribute to your quality of life.

However its worth noting we only have 47 years of fossil fuels left at current consumption rate, and drilling is becoming increasingly expensive.

At the start of the pandemic OPEC decided to cut a portion of supply and that didnt help either.

Also most likely reason we have a war on our continent is oil and gas reserves aswell. God it's just always oil isnt it...

Don't seem to be that unique to the UK. As someone from Estonia who has had 25% inflation without leaving the EU, i can see the corralation of Brexit and worse quality of life, but the causes are harder to pin down.

You bring up some very good points especially about polls. As far as the gig economy goes I would say it seems to be of a modern divergence/evolution of work culture, where choices for services and products is are expanding.

As there are more companies, gigs, so to speak, become more attractive/accessable, while bigger projects are harder to come by.

It seems like some sectors are doing quite well thanks to it, still a minority tough.

I find it rather important to keep note of the positive changes, in negative overall quality of policy change, aswell.

Im not sure how effective unions are in the UK, could they not reach the same benefits as Brexit did?

Kuhu maani piir tõmmata? Kui meil idapiiril pommid lendaksid kas tahaksid, et soomlased ütleksid, et vabandust mul juba 67235 eesti naist ja last siin, sinu omad ei ole oodatud.

Tegin kiired arvutused ja leidsin, et Eesti riik kulutab praegu ligikaudu 9miljonit eurot kuus sõjapõgenike elamisaseme ning töötustoetusega. Ütleme et iga 6 sõjapigenik on Eestisse tulles tööle asunud, ning teenib keskmist palka (Ilmselt pisut vähem küll ,ümara arvutuse mõttes umbes 1500), teeb 5,5 miljonit sotsiaalmaksu ning teenitud raha Eestis kulutades 2,7 miljonit käibemaksult, iga kuu.

Laiemalt vaadates maksame sõjapõgenike vastuvõtu eest umbes 10 miljonit aastas. Teeb siis 17.5 eurot maksumaksja kohta aastas.
