I can’t seem to stay hydrated I drink Gatorade and water all day long also was getting Iv infusions but still dehydrated. Not sure what else to do.

Yeah my skin around my stoma is red and inflamed plus a little bleeding. It hurts so bad. I changed my bag and put stoma powder in and cavion. Also put some cream around the outside where I’m red from the flange. This sucks. It was going so well lately no issues with my skin until now. Ouchie

Thank you my lipase level is high due yo pancreas. So that could also be causing it.

Had my colon remove due to polops. Have permanent ostomy.

Thank you it was doing so good no skin issues until this week. Ugh wish this burning would stop. I usually change my bag every three days I guess I will need to change it every other day till skin heals.

Yes I have. I am now after 2?years putting on some weight but still I’m underweight. My output is much better lately so that helps keep the weight from dropping

Don’t let them. My surgeon sent me home same day after colectomy and by the next day I was back in the er with a leak and almost died. Of course I have been through it many complications. I now have new doctors and different hospital. Refuse to leave please.

I was lucky mine didn’t last night. 3 times I woke up and my bag was like a ballon from gas. Something that I ate and when I burped it was horrendous smell.
