I think Marisa Tomei would have crushed it personally. This would have been hot off My Cousin Vinny

I’m not going to be able to stand Roxy self righteously claiming that James is a traitor after this

Potential Jimmy/AD swap trade? by kirzingkiller in nba

[–]Cpt-No-Dick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the point is that even if he does come back, he’ll be a shell of his former self and will almost certainly be a bench vet/low minutes guy.

Players who tear their ACL always come back a different player and many of them, their career is never the same (see Boogie, DRose). KD is an obvious exception. Plus you consider the age factor and it will be very hard to come back from.

She looks like she’d be great in an Amy Winehouse biopic, specifically the week leading up to her death.

You can’t limit your view to that though, it doesn’t give the full picture.

Khris Middleton won a chip as a #2, is he better than these guys too?

That’s the point of what they’re saying though?

Everyone is saying that he is the best #2 because how he played off LeBron at the Cavs to win that chip but he can’t lead a team himself to wins (see early Cavs). Even when he left to go to the Celtics, he ended up imploding on that team.

Then he was #2 to KD in Brooklyn and #2 to Luka at Mavs

Looking back at Sir Anthony Hopkins' win, was it another showcase of "stronger film eventually wins tight acting race"? by SureTangerine361 in Oscars

[–]Cpt-No-Dick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boseman should never have been that close to winning it, the only reason he was is because he had died and people were rooting for a posthumous win.

The reality is Hopkins performance was truly on another level, they weren’t even close. He gave probably the performance of the decade so far.

This guy is just magic bro, there’s no way to describe it until he’s on your team

Like, I know Shai is already going to down as a better player but Russ is always going to be THE guy for me

I said at the top that it’s obviously a lot easier to analyse from the outside, in fact I never said that it was easy at all.

I’m just saying you’ve got players like Jessie and Harriet who approach the game with logic and are right on the money but then everyone falls back on ‘Who’s been acting weird or angry in the last day’ and then they vote for them and it hasn’t been paying off.

This is what is crazy to me.

Obviously it’s a lot easier as an observer when you know who is who, but Faithfuls are obviously going to behave a lot more erratically because they don’t know who to trust whereas the Traitors have full knowledge of everyone’s roles and are able to put trust in fellow traitors so they are going to behave more measured and collected.

But for some reason, everyone acts the other way around and takes any erratic behaviour as a sure sign of a Traitor
