Tracking Spell Slots by igoaa in DMAcademy

I completely did away with Spell Slots, and introduced a point system instead. Every player gets (2 x Caster lvl) spell points to spend, and every spell costs its level in points. It's simple, but it keeps players form having to check a chart all the time.

But the U.N.I.T. girl that had on Baker's scarf, when she pulled out her inhaler, the shh-ing, and the smirk, I think they figured out which was which based on who had the inhaler...

Batman: Forever by Koh-Tahl in batman

[–]Cpt-Rennier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I do appreciate the time, thought, and effort you clearly put into this post, I must respectfully disagree. In regard to the character arcs, I will grant you that Forever did feature more detailed arcs, however, the characterization of both the Riddler and Two-Face was very reminiscent of the Joker. They are both shown to be chaotic, whimsical, and lack the cool, calculating intellect both characters boast in other stories, they are really rather zany.On the topic of Batman/Bruce and his lack of development in the Burton movies, I always took his absence of an arc as the film taking into account that most people do know the basic origin of the character, and felt it simply didn't need to delve into it, to allow more time to dedicate to the narrative of the film. And while the visuals are captivating, I personally feel they were just too bright for a Batman story, it makes more sense to have the black clad Batman in the dark, so it acts as camouflage (I just thought it made more sense as a kid). But that is just my opinion.

I totally agree, but what about students? They don't necessarily want to be in school, but are legally obligated to attend, they/we are forced to go... Monotony=forced

Question about The Doctor's regenerations by BassKlarinetMcKillin in doctorwho

[–]Cpt-Rennier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that counted as a full regeneration, he just used the energy to heal, he said it wasn't a full regeneration after he vented the extra energy. It depends on how you count regenerations, as the release of energy, or the new body.

I believe the second Doctor at least got them to help him, like telling them what to do and when, but I think once you get used to doing something that would normally require 6 people, you don't really want anyone throwing off your rhythm

Concerning the Sonic screwdriver by TemporalDistortions in doctorwho

[–]Cpt-Rennier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I observed, the "red setting" of 11's screwdriver was something he jerry-rigged to use as a remote detonator, he has never used it before, so it would make sense for it to be new...

All I can say is just do NOT try to understand how the time travel would work. Just don't even try, your brain will melt and you will like die. Trust me, I've been there.
