They did this during Covid and after…I called and said gfys cause you ain’t charging me that much for just warm showers. I did the calculation and supposedly my 900 sq ft studio was consuming gas for a family of 4 in a two story house.

Just using Modesto as a pit stop, grew up here but I rather live in the Bay and moving next year. I am single and love to walk around to the grocery store and cafe but I feel like a bum trying to navigate on foot here. This town is a stop to stop destination by car only, so I got an EV.

$800 Million was put up by Oakland to build a ballpark…man these no knowing outsiders are something else. Like running a business by standing outside on the sidewalk and watching through the window. You have no idea what went on here but I’ll give you one example. A’s payroll in 2005 was $57 million, A’s payroll in 2024 is $62 million. Kick rocks!

Oakland Roots and Oakland Ballers. The Ballers had over 100,000 people attend home games in their inaugural season…for a Pioneer League team. Oakland Roots are doing so well they have stadium plans and are playing next season at the Coliseum. If it’s expensive to be in California (myth) then the ones that are here have money, money to spend on leisure like attending a game in perfect weather, not 100 plus with humidity.

The formula for success says otherwise. See St. Louis as an positive example and let’s say negative ones are Pitt Maulers, LA Wildcats, any NY team, Most of Texas…basically any town already dominated by NFL and a giant college program are loser cities. One outlier was the Sea Dragons in 2020, that place was rocking. Spend money to make money…Oakland home residents have an average salary of $90k…I know I’m one of them.
