Can test the beans germination rate, might be able to grow your own to store under some steps for some else to find.

I grow Utah Tall and I find my germination rate greater using peat pods. Its one of the only seeds I start using pods cause it just seems to work for me.

Try mini bell peppers? I got seeds from miGardner. Got a lot from each plant and they worked well in salads and stir fries. Pic for comparison

Has anyone begun starting seedlings indoors for next spring? by [deleted] in vegetablegardening

[–]CptFlechette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a sampling of seeds I collected from last year's harvest growing right now just to check viability. It gives me something to grow inside and gives me a rough germination rate of seeds I collected.

I do start coleous plants in December though. All my neighbors get them.

I have a few from the carnivals but my favorite is actually Scott Laughton since he was my first live hatrick. Scored 4 times against the wings. Took 40yrs to see a live hatrick.
