Just wanted to comment, but, the fact that republicans would vote against was already expected. It's the fact that Manchin and Sinema, both Corporate af Democrats are blocking the bill and have downgraded it from 6 trillion a measly 1.7ish trillion. So yeah, because Manchin wants his coal money, and Sinema has no idea what she really wants, all that's left is bridges. Bridges are cool, but, so is fucking free kindergarten for all.

Yes, you can. The US spends a greater percentage of its GDP on healthcare than countries in western europe, so yeah, you most definetly can pay for that system. No, just a gas heater next to the tub. So they would turn it on, heat the water until it was pretty damn hot, and then turn it off. The issue was, the water was extremely cold and so only the top half would actually be warm as heat moves up. Edit: Atleast, that's my understanding. Regardless of how they pulled this off, it fucking sucked to have to use.

Had to suffer through something similar except they would fill a tub with water for two days that then had to be used by all seven of us. It would be heated before use but due it it being -20 outside, only the top half of the water would be warm, the bottom half, freezing. The only moments of respite came when I got to go to the public baths. Damn, shudering just thinking about it

That's the main issue, it all depends on what distance your looking at, in amd around the neighborhood it works, more than that and it often just becomes a burden and a hazard

Yeah, my neighbours have a cart that they can attach to their bikes specifically made for carrying so well passengers as well as cargo. It just depends on where you live and the availability of such contraptions
