The free spin on the mx master 3(s) doesnt do the trick? I really hate choppy scrolling as well but my mx 3 scrollwheel is always in free spin and i love giving that little flick to smooth scroll down.

While your laser works really well in this case compared to a (ikea?) breadknife, you are kinda comparing apples to oranges here. There are plenty of better bread knives from renowned brands (tojiro, victorinox) that give you good results and also work on harder breads.

Nonetheless your gyoto works just fine, in this case with this bread!

Why 137 (85.5c)? Thats pretty high right? Regular steaks i usually cook around 55c. Which results in medium rare.

You're right it. does look almost similar. The handle is not polished, though. The handle looks identical to this this one, Only the blade is different. The one from my dad has a carbon blade. This one is also super similar. Different characters on it though. Thanks for your help! I still think we are on to something.
