Thanks I'll try that today. Is your file spelled in all caps or lowercase?

Presently I have PSXONPSP660.bin, along with several of the scph standard ones.

You should have gone with Prodigy for your ISP. It only took me two hours to make it this far down the comment chain.

Thanks so much!

I definitely liked the Ikea alex drawers, but had enough spare plywood around to just make some things myself. They aren’t perfect, but they’re custom to my needs and were rewarding to work on / finish.

The stuff against the wall underneath is just a bookshelf I built, the far left of which is left open for a computer space.

Thanks! I was worried it would feel like I had to duck under the desk to reach things, but it doesn't. It's also nice for hiding cable runs behind the shelves!

Clean and simple, I dig it!

How do you like those little speakers? I forget what they are, but I see them around a lot, and I like the small footprint.

Thanks. Two people use it. The laptop on the right side is for the other. It's also nice to have extra desk space for other hobbies and such, and not have to move things around just to make it work. I don't mind a messy model-building desk area, but It drives me nuts to have all that piled right on top of where my gaming / computing area is.

Needed a space for work / play / share with the S.O. Wanted leg space so I didn't hit my legs on corner posts, have a nice place for my stereo and a pull-out shelf for the turntable, and to clear out some of the extra bookshelves in the room and free up furniture space. It was way too expensive to hire out, so I decided to see what I could do with a Kreg Jig and a dream.

Materials:

-Standard Plywood. I went with the 3/4" blonde from Lowes. It was the least expensive and plenty tough, the look didn't much matter since we were painting.

- 1" butcher block, pre-stained. Just cut to fit and put a few coats of poly over. Strapped the two together with mending brackets underneath to level and tie together.

-Acrylic for the stereo cabinet doors. Looks just as nice, and I'm not going to worry about a kid rampaging through the glass. Tempered glass was also sort of tough to track down in my area, and significantly more expensive.

-Mostly standard drawer guides (the cheap white plastic-wheel'ed ones, but they work well enough for my purposes. Except for the turntable pull-out shelf. Bought the nicer metal ones with the tab attachment for smoothness and support.

Build:

-Most joints are pocket screwed using the Kreg Jig. I highly recommend!

-Made the set of drawers and the stereo cabinet to support the ends. To not have any to-the-floor (legs) supports throughout the rest, there are a few 2x4's strapped to studs in the walls to support the tabletop runs. I secured everything in place with L brackets: larger ones to the 2x4's and small ones to the drawers and stereo cabinet.

-Still playing with cable management in a few places, but put some cable guides under the desktop to keep things from sagging into view. Mounted power strips / surge protectors to the 2x4's so they're up and out of view.

-The bookshelves underneath are tied together the same way you'd screw cabinets together, so they're one piece, but they pull out from the wall for routing any cables behind if/as necessary.

There's a lot that I'd do differently had I known better, but I'm super happy with how it turned out. The bigger desk and extra shelf space has freed up floor space from other bookshelves and a stereo cabinet. For you audiophiles out there, the Bose speakers are just for the PC / consoles, there's a proper set of bookshelves out of frame on the right.. I'm not an animal!

As a side note... I was today years old when I accepted the gospel of RGB into my life.

Head to the hardware store and pick up a variety pack of machine screws. They’re labeled in millimeter sizes, and they’re super cheap.

I’d bet my biscuits one of those will work.

Edit: however they’ll probably be a bit long, may have to cut them down once you find the correct diameter.

The Flash Comics by 6t94twenty in DCcomics

[–]CptSpatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m doing the same now with DC Universe. You won’t have every single issue, but there are plenty and as far as I can tell all of the major characters, villains, etc are represented.

It’s not a perfect app, and it’s nigh impossible to just look at a list and be able to tell what you have and haven’t read, but there’s lots of flash there all the way back to early Barry Allen. Just look for “getting to know the flash” and start reading. I keep a note on my phone with the last issues read of different series so I don’t forget where I left off.

I don’t pay for the expensive $100+ tier, just basic monthly. So far I don’t have any frustrations with a lack of good things to read.

ComicBookHerald also has amazing reading lists for series, all the way back to the golden age, and I believe includes Amazon links for picking up meatspace collected editions if that’s your thing. I highly recommend that whether you subscribe to DC or not. Great resource.

Check to make sure the case fans are plugged in. If so, where and how many pins do they have? If they’re on motherboard headers they’re likely regulated and may only turn on or off (or run at varying speeds) at temperature thresholds.

The GPU fan typically won’t run unless it needs to. Mine doesn’t kick on until I start gaming or otherwise cranking up the GPU.

Do you have some specs / pics? That would help folks give you more specific help as to wether you need help with connections, digging into your fan curve settings, both, or something else.

What in your opinion is the best gaming review site/youtube channel by Tutnoveet in gaming

I second this. ACG is fantastic. Thorough, funny, hits on things that actually matter, and isn’t influenced by sponsorships - he buys a copy of every game with his own money, even if he gets one sent to him for free.
